Unknown Caller
The smoke carried off into the wind as my cigarette burned between my fingers. I placed it in between my soft, pink lips to take my last puff. I tossed the cigarette into the ashtray right as I felt my phone begin to vibrate from my back pocket. I pulled the phone out to reveal my screen was lit up with the words Unknown Caller.

The Strain
Every night as I lay in silence in my bed I can hear the forest whispering my name. A place my friends and I called a second home when we were teens growing up in the farm town of Credemore. A place that is now tainted with guilt and sorrow. It's a place that makes me nauseous when thinking about it, but I can't stop thinking about it. My friends names were Elana and Jake. I was like an extension of thier family. When I sat alone at lunch they were always there, when I was trapped in the prison of my quiet room they always called and had some adventure to embark on, and now they're gone.

Jung believed that dreams are our conscious and subconscious’ way to meet on neutral ground. This allows us to learn from our subconscious mind and better our lives in the conscious realm of existence. He postulated that all things in life are paired in opposites. Good and evil, love and hate, joy and pain. He believed the opposite part of the ego is the counter-ego, better known as ‘the shadow’.

Inhabitation
I was awakened suddenly by a loud noise in my backyard. When I looked to the clock, it read exactly 3 AM. The noise happened again making me jump. I stumbled out of my bed with my heart pounding in my ears as I ran towards the window to look into the backyard. As I threw back the blinds, I saw some sort of aircraft resting on the ground. It was in the shape of a UFO that you see on TV... but I knew that my eyes had to be playing tricks on me.

Merlot Over Blood
It was fall of 2031. Humans lived in a world where they can coexist with vampires and werewolves. The appearance of a vampire included pale skin and bright red eyes in addition to sharp, one-inch fangs. A werewolf would have a widow’s peak and bright yellow eyes. Anger would transform them into full werewolf mode with fuller and thicker body hair and large pointy teeth. All species had to follow a law that said that one shall not attack nor kill another specie unless it was out of self-defense.

A Date under the Full Moon
Dorian thought he’d first be graced by his date’s face that night, but it was the poison ivy teetering at him in an almost human-like gesture that greeted him first. It craned protectively over the frame of the front door, as if cynically guarding its home’s resident from entering predators. Yet there was no wind, and it seemed as if the plant had moved on its own accord. Dorian lifted one nervous knuckle and rapped against the door. Shortly after the door swung open and a sigh of relief passed through his lips. His date, Esmerelda, stood welcomingly before him, her eyes lit up with the same radiance that the full moon bathed them in on that night.

Haunted Places In Germany
Haunted Castles Haunted By a Headless Ghost Reichenstein Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 13th century. The castle was built to protect a neighboring village. According to folklore, the castle was protection for a robber baron named Deitrich von Honhefels and his nine sons. When they all got captured Honhefels pleaded for the pardon of his sons but his request wasn't granted. All of them including Honhefels were decapitated and buried in St, Clement Chapel found within the castle. Now the castle is haunted by the headless spirit of Honhefels.
