Indonesian Cinemas Throughout July Presenting 15 New Films

A number of new films will grace Indonesian cinemas throughout July 2024. These films consist of various genres, such as horror, action, romance, comedy and documentary. Reporting from Screen Rant, Saturday (29/6/2024), the film Deadpool & Wolverine from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is one of the most anticipated shows this month.

From Indonesian filmmakers, film lovers will be treated to various horror films throughout July, including the latest work by writer and YouTuber, Risa Saraswati, entitled Risa's Journal. So, what are the newest films that will be shown in Indonesian cinemas throughout July 2024?

1. Despicable Me 4 (July 3, 2024)

Synopsis: Gru, Lucy, and their four little ones Margo, Edith, Agnes, and Gru Jr. are targeted by criminals Maxime Le Mal and Valentina who hope for revenge. 2. Indonesian Cinema Film Sekawan Limo (4 July 2024)

Cast: Bayu Skak, Nadya Arina, Keisya Levronka, Dono Pradana, and Devina Aureel.

Synopsis: This comedy horror film tells the story of Bagas, Lenni, Dicky, Juna, and Andrew climbing Mount Madyopuro. There, there is a warning that there should be an even number of climbers and it is forbidden to look back. They failed to comply with the advice and believed one of the five of them was not human.

Cast: Natasya Nurhalima, Bilal Fadh, and Tegar Iman.

Cast: Raditya Dika and Ariel Tatum.

Synopsis: This comedy film adaptation of the novel by Rosi L. Simamora with the same title tells the story of husband and wife Minar and Sahat after marriage.
