Halloween 🎃

In the midst of the night a dark cloud fills the land. A fog follows you everywhere you go & you slowly fall into the abyss. You wake up to someplace different. Somewhere unknown. All you see is a sign as you explore this new land.

A small shadow of fog as dark as night makes its way down the road. You look in the sky as the clouds form. Dark & gray clouds blend together like two colors on a paint tray. You look around as the fog spreads like a wildfire covering the land. The fog feels like dry ice as it comes close to the town. You walk around along the brown dried sidewalk through the fog.

"Ouch!" You bump your foot against a soft yet firm object. You look down to see something orange & round. Curiosity and frustration fills the mind as you bend down to view the object up close. Eyes in the shape of triangles, a carving of teeth right beneath a small space where a nose would be. The insides cleaned out & a small item stuck in the middle. A candle as white as snow with a wick placed on top already black on the tip as if already been used.

You look confused to why something so small is nested inside of a vegetable. "Hey You!" A voice from a distance travels through the fog & shocks you. The sound forces you to twitch & you drop the pumpkin on the floor causing the force of the drop to break the candle off causing a rip of the pumpkin. The pumpkin breaks & splits in half.

Looking to your right you see an old man with a cane approaching you in a pace as slow as a swamp thing. With shock & anger on his face, a. single tear falls down his face. Wearing a black sweater with pumpkins all over like polka dots. Pants that's black with strips all over that has orange stitching to match the pumpkin shirt. Height as tall as 6'1 with a slender body frame & a ring on his left ring finger that has a pumpkin of solid onyx. Reflective material you can see that he means business.

"What the salted caramel did you do to my baby you bitch!" As the old man finishes his dialogue you let out a projected apology still confused but assured that breaking the pumpkin meant you did something wrong. "I'm sorry man!" Your vegetable had a weird cut & something unusual inside of it!" Noticing the cane slow movements of the man, you squat down to gather the remains of the pumpkin. As you come back up, the sound of a crow gawks at you. Frightened in fear, you drop the pumpkin one again. You let out a terrifying streak as if your soul has separated from your body to come back in, "Eek!" You hold yourself together as if you try to give yourself warmth.

The pumpkin You can't even make out the face carving but see all the parts shattered like a puzzle that needed to be together. "Freaking Pussy!" Said the old man as he puts his right hand on his head shaking it in disappointment. You scatter around together your thoughts as you try to explain how it happened. The old man sighs as he then looks at me with intense frustration. "Well don't stand there looking like you don't know where you are! Get your behind over here & explain yourself!"" The old man yells. My emotion changed.

I did not know where the hell I was. Not being able to remember how I got here. Last thing I had remembered was that I was driving down highway when I saw this fog come out of nowhere & I took a wrong turn & drove off a cliff. I woke up in this town unknown to what was going on let alone something like a pumpkin on the ground as if presented like an ornament.

Isee a sign from a distance as the fog moves around making way to make the sign visible. look up to see in big words, "Welcome to where the Holiday is every day"
