It was a dark and stormy night when seven buddies gathered for a dinner party at an insulated mansion on the outskirts of the megacity. The group had been looking forward to this night for weeks, and they were agitated to catch up and partake in stories over a succulent mess.

As they sat down to dinner, a feeling of apprehension began to settle over them. The mansion was old and creaky, and the storm outside was growing stronger by the minute. But they tried to ignore their apprehension and concentrate on the mess.

That's when goods started to go wrong. The power flirted, and also went out completely, leaving the room in darkness. They lit candles and tried to make the swish of it, but also they heard a sound coming from the attic.

At first, they allowed

it was just the wind, but the sound grew louder and more patient. It was like a commodity was scratching at the walls, trying to get in. They tried to ignore it, but the sound was too agitating.

One of their buddies was assigned to look into it, but he no way returned. He did not respond when they called him. They came alive in their dilemma at that point.

also, one by one, they started to dematerialize. It eventually came each they could hear as the clawing at the walls grew louder and more frantic. The doors and windows were locked from the outside as they tried to depart.

The remaining guests gathered around in fear as the night went on, staying for what was bound to be. Just before dawn, the scratching eventually stopped.

They cautiously made their way to the attic, where they set up their missing friend, his eyes wide and peering, his body contorted in fear. And also they saw it- a creature, a commodity not of this world, its claws still wet with blood.

They tried to run, but it was too late. The creature was upon them, tearing them incremental one by one until there was no bone

left.

The mansion stood empty for times, a haunted relic of that cataclysmal night. People would bruit about the dinner party that went horribly wrong, about the scratching at the walls that noway stopped.

Some say that if you hear nearly, you can still hear the scratching, indeed on quiet nights. And if you're stalwart enough to enter the mansion, you might just meet the same fate as those unlucky guests.

of curious communal explorers decided to probe the mansion. They had heard the rumors and wanted to see for themselves what all the fuss was about.

They heard clawing at the walls as they moved through the creepy, dark hallways. As they got near the attic, the sound increased in volume and intensity from when it was originally weak.

The same monster that had frightened the dinner party all those times before appeared when they opened the attic door. Its claws were covered in blood, and its eyes shone in the dark.

The beast was moving too snappily for the explorers to escape. They were easily torn incremental as it pursued them through the home. When it was each done, all that was left was stillness.

The mansion remained abandoned, and no one

dared to enter it again. The creature that visited it came to a legend, a warning to those who dared to explore the unknown.

But some say that on quiet nights, when the wind is just right, you can still hear the scratching at the walls. And if you hear nearly, you might indeed hear the screams of those who fell victim to the creature's wrath.
