The Razorbacks have an illustrious history of competition in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Over the years, they have forged a legacy teeming with notable players and coaches. We'll delve into the most spectacular plays done by the Razorbacks from 2014 to 2023, a decade marked by thrilling victories, unforgettable moments and a spirit that only they have!

The Miracle on Markham II: The year was 2014, and the Razorbacks faced off against the LSU Tigers in a nail-biting showdown at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas. With the game tied at 14-14 and less than a minute remaining, quarterback Brandon Allen unleashed a deep pass to wide receiver Hunter Henry at their own 25-yard line. What ensued was a spectacular lateral to tight end Alex Collins, who dashed 75 yards to the end zone, etching the play into history as the "Miracle on Markham II," a nod to a similar feat in 2002 that vanquished LSU at the same venue.

The Henry Heave: In 2015, a clash with the Ole Miss Rebels unfolded in a mesmerizing game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. The game ventured into overtime, with the Razorbacks trailing by seven points on a critical fourth and 25. Quarterback Brandon Allen connected with tight end Hunter Henry, who, though tackled short, executed a miraculous backward toss over his head. Alex Collins seized the opportunity, sprinting for 31 yards, securing a first down. This play, named the "Henry Heave," set the stage for a comeback that culminated in a 53-52 triumph, earning the Razorbacks a coveted spot in the Liberty Bowl.

The Hail Mary: 2016 witnessed a tense faceoff between the Razorbacks and the TCU Horned Frogs at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. With the score deadlocked at 28-28 and only 10 seconds on the clock, quarterback Austin Allen unleashed a Hail Mary pass. Wide receiver Keon Hatcher made a miraculous reception in the end zone, propelling the Razorbacks to a 41-38 victory in double overtime. Fondly remembered as the "Hail Mary," this play stands as one of the season's most enduring memories.

The Fake Punt: 2017 brought a challenging encounter with the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama. Trailing by 10 points in the third quarter, the Razorbacks faced a pivotal fourth and 11 at their own 45-yard line. Punter Blake Johnson executed a flawless fake punt, finding wide receiver Deon Stewart open for a 24-yard pass. This strategic maneuver set the stage for a subsequent touchdown, propelling the Razorbacks to a remarkable 27-23 comeback victory.

The Trick Play: In 2018, a formidable matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide unfolded at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Despite trailing by 21 points in the second quarter, a clever trick play emerged as a highlight. Quarterback Ty Storey handed the ball to running back Rakeem Boyd, who then pitched it to wide receiver Jared Cornelius. Cornelius, in turn, delivered a touchdown pass to Storey in the end zone. Despite a 65-31 loss, this ingenious play showcased the Razorbacks' resilience in the face of adversity.

The Interception: 2020 saw the Razorbacks face the Georgia Bulldogs in a surprising clash at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Leading by seven points in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs aimed to mount a comeback at the Razorbacks' 25-yard line. Quarterback JT Daniels launched a pass to the end zone, only for cornerback Montaric Brown to intercept it. Brown's 75-yard return for a touchdown proved to be a game-changer, securing a 31-17 triumph over the then-No. 4 ranked Bulldogs.

The Kick Return: A riveting rivalry game unfolded in 2021 as the Razorbacks clashed with the Texas A&M Aggies at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Trailing by four points in the third quarter, kick returner Treylon Burks executed a spectacular play. Catching the ball at the Razorbacks' 5-yard line, Burks eluded the Aggies' coverage team, breaking tackles and outrunning defenders for a breathtaking 95-yard touchdown. This electrifying kick return granted the Razorbacks a 24-23 lead that proved unassailable.

The Sack: In 2022, a pivotal game against the Florida Gators unfolded at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida. Clinging to a six-point lead with under a minute left, the Gators threatened from the Razorbacks' 35-yard line. Quarterback Emory Jones dropped back to pass but met his match in defensive end Zach Williams. Williams sacked Jones, stripped the ball, and secured the recovery, sealing a decisive 30-24 victory and clinching the Razorbacks' first SEC West title since 2006.

The Razorbacks are one of the most renowned college American football teams, and rightfully so. Their great skills and strategies have gotten them where they are now, and these plays are just the greatest proof of that. This is a team that deserves great recognition, and their stories must be told.
