Wonder if you was anything like me with your first time seeing wrestling back as a young child. Was only 4 or 5 years old at the time myself but I still remember the logo as well as the slogan. Still very cartoonish at that point so to me this was just new but wild. I became a fan for life the moment saw the one and only immortal Hulk Hogan.

I was completely enamored with all things Hogan from then on, he was my childhood hero. Just for full disclosure purposes, I was also born a Hogan then was adopted fairly early on. So certainly his last name alone probably helped draw me to liking the Hulkster on the show. Also imagine it was easy to choose him as my favorite since he was the top champion.

So I have been a loyal and devoted super fan since all the way back then. Sure it helped out an awful lot that my Mom and Grandma both also loved to watch. They both stuck with only the WWF while I watched different organizations. The NWA and AWA on ESPN but was still to young to when they made a botch.

Now for the uninitiated, a botch is when and where they mess up and make a mistake. Leading to all the injuries we have heard about while watching on tv. Accidents do happen to, all just part of what the wrestlers have to give and take. Just to be part of the debate on who is the GOAT or best in history.

It is all subjective since everyone has the right to have their own opinion. Although an awful lot of it is based off personal preference with the good guy or bad. If the bad guy was good at they job you would view them with content resentment. Then the good guys show up to give everyone a hero they possibly never had.

Now in wrestling terms the good guys are referred to as the 'face'. Can also generally tell from their swag, demeanor, as well as wrestling attire. Face vs Heel or good vs evil is the story they perform or portray. When this is done in a great way it can set the arena on fire.

I can vividly remember the first ever WcW Clash of the Titans. Speaking of Titans how bout Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania. Easily the biggest sports spectacle I had personally witnessed up to then. So much excitement that my heart was putting my chest through the strain of pain.

I can not negate the reputation of another match from that stacked card making it an eventful night. This one not only stole the show but is considered as one of the best matches of all time. Ricky 'the Dragon' Steamboat vs the Macho Man 'Randy Savage' was a technicians dream fight. A classic masterpiece where two legends left it all in the ring while put it all out on the line.

Thanks to matches like that one helped usher in another massive change to the industry. Being that the smaller wrestlers were finally giving a chance to shine. Leading to greats such as Bret 'the Hitman' Hart and Shawn Michaels as the faces of the company to be. As well as help shape and mold who would go on to be the greatest 'entertainer' of all time.

In wrestling alot of talented guys can never seem to get they feet off the soil. Not able to get anywhere even remotely close to the big leagues. Plus to truly be great you first must have what is considered to be the perfect foil. Hogan had Andre the Giant but of course I'm talking bout when the Rock and Stone Cold were unleashed..

As well as a tall yet incredibly athletic monster who was starting to make everyone know his name. Not to suprising since he stands a legit 6' 10" with his height only matched by his skill. Once he was one half of the tag team in WcW called the Skyscrapers, then named 'Mean' Mark Calloway. If your still lost on who I'm speaking of then you clearly can't be a true wrestling fan for real.

No true fan would not know who this one or that one you can name really is. Just get completely lost if questions become bout history of the movers or shakers. Always should try to learn as much as you can like a sponge soaking it all in. Speaking of teachers or respected leaders, possibly the best to lace a pair of boots up, The Undertaker.

So four of the greatest ever all together on the same wrestling show. Not only just through territories but globe trotting worldwide on promotional tours. It is really no wonder why the WwF was all alone on top of the totem pole. Until along arose WcW leading eventually to the Monday Night Wars.
