Will Michael and Willow both have a change of heart?

On General Hospital everything Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) planned is unraveling at a rapid pace. He thought Liesl Obrecht (Kathlene Gati) would donate bone marrow to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and she would be on the mend by now. Instead, Obrecht is being held captive by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) on board the Haunted Star and Michael and Willow are planning a quick wedding in case she dies. Fans have become frustrated at the way this storyline is going because in real-time someone in Willow's condition would already have succumbed to the illness as it has been dragging on for many months now.

Michael also thought that Dex Heller (Evan Hofler) would have helped him put Sony Corinthos (Maurice Benard) behind bars but that situation too has taken a different turn. Sonny now knows that Dex is dating Jossly Jax (Eden McCoy but he did not respond the way anyone expected. He said that if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is ok with the couple then he will not stand in their way. Sonny has also poured out his heart to Michael and let him know he would do anything to help Willow and now Sonny has been invited to the quicky wedding because Ms. Tait wants peace between father and son.

Sonny is showing a softer side to his son

Michael has been watching Sonny show himself to be kind and caring and he seems conflicted. Perhaps this might encourage him to rethink trying to take his dad down. Joss, Dex, and Michael agreed some time back that Sonny had to be put in jail but their opinions might soon change. Sonny did not seek revenge on Dex and that should have at least a small effect on Heller and Joss who might ask Michael to change his mind. Willow has asked Carly to broker peace between Sonny and Michael and if she insists Michael might decide to give his dad another chance.

On Thursday Carly and Nina were having a conversation at Wyndemere where Nina blamed Carly for the time she lost with her daughter. Carly bluntly told her it's no one's fault but her own that Willow invited Sonny to the wedding and does not want her birth mom anywhere around. Perhaps by the time the nuptials take place both Willow and Michael will have a change of heart and allow both of their parents to be in attendance.

Will Willow give Nina a chance?

Willow being near death's door should have already led to her and Michael letting their guard down and not being so vindictive but they have been obstinate and standing their ground. Spoilers do not say what will happen so General Hospital viewers should keep open minds. Fans on social media have been divided on whether or not Willow should reach out to Nina while she still has time but practically everyone is saying they wish Michae would just stop. He is being self-righteous and judging Sonny too harshly and most viewers say he should stand down.

Is it possible that Cary could get Willow to give Nina a second chance and that Willow will convince Michael to forgive Sonny? Ava Jerome (Maura West) pleaded with Carly to show Nina the same compassion she once gave her and Carly seemed as though she was going to consider it. Once she saw Nina face to face and they began sparring with one another all bets were off. Be on the lookout for updates and spoilers related to what will happen next for this blended family on General Hospital.
