There's a new kid in town on B&B

Joshua Hoffman will debut as Ridge Forrester Jr. on The Bold and the Beautiful on Friday, April 20 and the young actor is already causing quite a stir prior to his first time on screen. There is a lot of speculation from spoiler alerts as well as fans related to how RJ's storyline will affect current situations on the soap. There are several possibilities that have been discussed regarding the aging of the son of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) but nothing has been revealed from the B&B brass.

Ridge Jr. might take the fashion world by storm

It's believed that RJ might return to LA to claim his place in the fashion world of Forrester Creations and that he might have a rivalry with his half-brother Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Right now Thomas is the lead designer and everyone says he is brilliant. He might find that his younger brother is more competitive than he is ready to handle. Thomas himself might begin to feel some kind of way when his younger sibling shows up and if RJ decides to work at Forrester then Thomas could feel he is being pushed out as his brother is being welcomed into the fold.

RJ might be rebellious and cause problems

There is also the possibility that the young man may now be going by Ridge Jr. and he might want nothing at all to do with his family legacy. RJ could show himself to be a team player or he might have issues with Thomas because he broke up his parents' marriage. Ridge Jr. could have a chip on his shoulder and be angry at his parents or perhaps he will lash out at Taylor for her role in the demise of the Bridge marriage.

One issue that this surely to come up is the fact that RJ is a half-sibling to both Thomas and Hope and his presence might create some awkwardness for Hope who seems to have feelings for Thomas as he is trying to keep how he feels about her in check. If Ridge Jr. returns home as a bad boy who is determined to cause trouble this will shake things up and give The Bold and the Beautiful fans something to look forward to. If he comes back to LA without any drama things could be pretty boring.

What will happen with Ridge Forrester Sr?

The big question on everyone's minds is what will RJ's return mean for his father Ridge Forrester Sr. who seems out of place now since both Brook and Taylor Hayes (Krista Thompson) have decided to keep him in the friend zone. Fans are saying that the 3 of them acting like besties is not realistic and wonder how long it will last. For 3 decades those who watch The Bold and the Beautiful have watched the love triangle between Taylor, Ridge, and Brooke and the hurt feelings and animosity that comes with it. Fans are having a difficult time believing that the trio is now playing nice without any drama.

If Joshua Hoffman's image in the photo is any indication he will probably bring some trouble with him to LA on Friday. There are not currently any young girls who could be a love interest unless possibly Paris Buckingham dumps Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon De Metz) for a chance at yet another member of the family. Be sure to tune in Friday to The Bold and the Beautiful to find out what happens when Ridge Forrester Jr. is back in town.
