General Hospital viewers have been seeking a change from the predictable storylines such as the Willow/Michael/Sasha/ Brando situaiton. Fans are tired of Cyrus Renault never getting caught and don't like that his mother is being held hostage so to speak. Recent spoilers indicate that deception is going to reign supreme in Port Charles and a romance may bloom out of all the drama. Valentin and Anna might be bitten by the love bug which will be a different scenario and perhaps heat things up a bit.

Everything will be riding on Brooke Lynn and the fact that she is faking her pregnancy. Her goal is to get Valentin to relinquish his controlling interest in ELQ and return her grandfather's company back into the hands of the Quartermaines. At some point, Valentin will have to know the truth about the baby and this is going to hurt him deeply. It's amazing that he has never asked to go long to a doctor's appointment, hear the heartbeat or view a sonogram. Once he finds out he has been duped his friendship with Anna will lead her to lend support.

Spoilers indicate that the duo might eventually take things to the next level. In the meantime, many viewers believe that a lot of chaos will be taking place and things in Port Charles will become out of control. Spoilers suggest that Maxie and Britt are going to team up with BLQ and give her Maxie's baby so that Peter will believe his child is dead. If this scenario turns out to be true then Valentin will fall in love with that child who eventually will be taken away from him. Either way, he will be devastated and Anna will be the one he turns to.

Spoilers also suggest that a romance will blossom between Finn and Liz which means that the doctor will not be attempting to get Ms. Devane back. This leaves Anna open to explore her feelings for Heir Cassadine as Liesl calls him. In other news, Cameron Mattheson has been hired on the ABC daytime drama and the rumor mill indicates that he will portray Olivia's old flame Steve Harvey. He will no doubt be working at the hospital and may become a romantic interest for some lucky lady in Port Charles. The timing of this character's return indicates that he will probably play some role in what happens when Maxie goes into labor and BLQ is exposed as a fraud.

The ensuing escapades will more than likely bring Vanna closer together and their fans will be delighted. Anna and Valentin have had a difficult and complicated relationship and many viewers have waited a long time for them to hook up. Spoilers suggest that they will gradually begin to realize their feelings for one another. They are already each other's confidantes and this is one issue that was a turn off for Finn. The writers have been slowly drawing Vanna into each other's worlds for quite some time but they have yet to cross the line from friendship to romance. Spoilers believe that when Valentin finds out he does not have a baby on the way he will be so angry and heartbroken that only Anna will be able to get through to him.

If as fans believe, Nina is going to fall for Sonny/Mike then perhaps Jax and Carly might fall into bed again. This leaves Valentin vulnerable on an even deeper level and he will definitely need his good friend and confidante on his side. Will BLQ be exposed as a fraud or will she end up with Maxie's baby? Can Valentin and Anna ever be free to fall in love without regrets or explaining themselves to various Port Charles residents? Tune in to General Hospital each weekday afternoon to find out how all of these situations turn out.
