Thomas Forrester's Amazing Comeback

Spoiler alerts for The Bold and the Beautiful all concur that Thomas Forrester is alive. What loyal fans need now are answers regarding what happened after he fell into the vat of hydrohalic acid. Ridge and Taylor's son was shown floating face up after Hope shoved him off the catwalk. How is it that his body was not eaten by the acid? Why did he not cry out in pain after the burning liquid consumed him? The shock alone should have caused him problems and how was he able to get out? Something about the ordeal does not sound right and there obviously are pieces missing to this puzzle.

The most logical answer would be that the vat held water instead of the acid and if you were thinking that, Soap Dirt confirms you are correct. The spoiler says Thomas planned the entire thing. He put water in the tank and obviously did not tell Charlie, who believes nothing gets by him. Terrible Tom knew Hope well enough that he staged the situation on the stairwell, being certain she would push him and run away. Thomas was not shown when Charlie explained to Ridge about hydrohalic acid, but he obviously knew about it. The question now is, what will his ultimate plan turn out to be? He has given Hope her dream of being a mother to Douglas but when he returns from the dead what will his next move be?

Hope is horrified because she believes she sent the father of Douglas to a cruel and painful death. She considers herself a murderer and is considering telling Ridge what she has done. At some point she comes clean with Liam, but spoilers don't say what his reaction will be. During the next two weeks Hope will find that things will become more complicated for herself and her mother. Soaps She Knows says that the two women will try to cover up the truth when Ridge and Steffy begin wondering where Thomas is. There will eventually be some type of confrontation where Ridge is going to explode and decide to turn to Shauna. Ms. Fulton will be invited by Quinn to spend Thanksgiving at the Forrester Mansion and she will be excited at the prospect of spending time with Ridge.

This sounds like the "Bridge" marriage is headed towards an end, which is exactly what Thomas will eventually resurface and have some point to prove to Hope. He will convince her they should talk to Douglas together and tell the child she is truly his mother. There must be an ulterior motive behind this because he will be angry at what Hope did to him even though he set it up. Some spoilers say Thomas is going to blackmail Hope so the united front may be part of his next plot. It's not clear how he finds out that Brooke was covering for her daughter, but Soaps.com indicates that Thomas will taunt her and try to force his step mom to come clean to Ridge.

Celebrating the Soaps says that when Ridge begins questioning his son's whereabouts, Brooke will lie and say that Thomas was alive and well when Hope left him. This will come back to bite her later and she will wish she had told her husband the truth. When the facts come to light, Ridge will be furious that Brooke chose to lie to him to protect Hope, rather than be honest about what happened to his son. This will cause a lot of fallout and if there is reconciliation it might be a long time coming. Eric Forrester hosts a Thanksgiving dinner each year where friends, family, and enemies break break together. With all this chaos it does not seem likely that everyone can sit down at the same table, but you never know.

Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that when the dust settles from Hope and Brooke's deception, Liam will be so disgusted that he will turn to Steffy. Earlier spoilers teased that because Steffy told Liam that she was ready to move on, there must be a new man coming along. There was even talk that Daniel Goddard might join the B&B cast as the new love interest once he left The Young and the Restless. Nothing has been confirmed regarding this possibility so it's probable that the love triangle will start up once more. The Bold and the Beautiful will be preempted on Tuesday and Wednesday and new episodes will resume on Thursday.
