Theo Accepts Ashley's Offer but It's Not yet a Done Deal

On Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless Theo decided to accept Ashley's offer to work for her in Paris. Summer was excited for him and shared how it was an Abbott ritual to work abroad. Theo later looked longingy at Lola when she said he marriage to Kyle was going well. It's clear that he has genuine feelings for her. When he talked to her she gave him sound advise by saying he should embrace his new life, without changing who he is. There was something in his eyes that indicated he may not be 100% certain he is making the right decision. Spoiler alerts have been conflicted on the issue with some indicating that Theo will stick around and cause trouble in Kyle's marriage. Others continue to report that Phyllis will hook up with her daughter's boyfriend.

Phyllis is full of herself lately as she tried to cozy up to Adam, Chance and Nick. On Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless Ms. Newman got into a heated argument with her daughter related to Kyle and Theo. Summer told her mom that Theo accepted Ashley's job offer but it would be just like Phyllis to try something with him to prove a point. Mr. Vanderway has said yes to his aunt, but it's not over until he boards the plane and leaves Genoa City. There has been nothing in the news indicating that Tyler Johnson is leaving the CBS daytime drama, unlike Daniel Goddard who portrays Cane. Goddard has been very vocal about being axed from his role.

If Theo does leave Genoa City behind it will shut down several possible storylines. There are Internet polls asking who will cheat first, Kyle or Lola but without Mr. Vanderway, there is no other man that Ms Rosales/Abbott is close to. Some spoilers said Jack would counter his sister's offer and give his nephew a better job at Jabot. This was supposed to cause Kyle issues when he would have to see his frenemy encroaching upon his territory. On Monday, Kyle said he was going to stop expecting the worst from his new cousin and give him the benefit of the doubt. If Theo accepts Ashley's offer the conflict ends because he will be halfway around the world. This would also leave Summer free to make moves on Kyle which would infuriate Lola.

Should Theo stick with his decision to go to Paris he might get carried away and give Lola a kiss goodbye and that would cause all kinds of chaos. Although Summer is not serious about Mr. Vanderway, she would be livid should she walk up when he is planting a lip lock on Lola. Naturally she would go straight to Kyle and the fireworks would be going off. Some viewers were wondering who would cheat first in the Kola marriage but Lola does not seem the type. She saved herself for Kyle and is committed to the relationship. This does not, however, indicate that the writers may not allow her husband's cousin to get her into bed.

The more likelier scenario would be Kyle and Summer is close quarters and unable to fight their passion. Mariah warned her friend on Tuesday to be careful not to allow Miss Snowflake to come between him and Lola and he quickly told her that would never happen. Theo will have to make a decision soon because he cannot maintain his lifestyle without income and Ashley will want an answer ASAP. Y& viewers who are not fans of Mr. Vanderway want him to leave town quick, fast, and in a hurry, but there is a chance he may stick around awhile. Theo's exit would tie a few things up in a neat little package but if he remains in Genoa City a while there will be more complications.

Jack was outraged that Ashley wanted to whisk their new nephew away before he could get to know him better. He may, however, change his mind and decide that this may be the best decision for all concerned. There seems to be no clear cut direction for Theo in Genoa City. Spoilers said when he brought Zoe to town it would stop the Kola wedding but the truth about Zoe never came out. The relationship with Summer is going nowhere so the character might be written out of the show.
