'The Young and the Restless' update: Skyle remain in Milan, Sally fired, Jack and Ashland battle over Harrison

Skyle remains abroad

Spoilers for THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS indicate that Monday and Tuesday will be filled with drama as time winds down for Michael Mealor and Hunter King. Fans hoping that Kyle and Summer would return to Genoa City and have a big wedding should brace themselves because the couple will decide to remain in Milan. Phyllis and Jack will be heartbroken but Nick will say he had braced himself for this possible outcome.

Everything Phyllis did was to bring her daughter home. She believed that once Tara and Sally were exposed that there would be no reason for Summer to remain in Italy."Red" will be devastated that all of her hard work did not bring about the end result that she was hoping for. Spoilers don't say but she probably will eventually come around before Summer's last scenes are aired on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Viewers know this is happening because Michael Mealor and Hunter King are both no longer on the CBS soap.

Had the dup remained on the CBS daytime drama then Skyle probably would be heading back to Genoa City. Kyle would remain at Jabot and Summer could reclaim her job at JCB. Instead, Kyle will tell his dad that he is going to stay in Italy with Summer and can continue his Jabot work from abroad. He is also and going to consider the possibility of bringing his son to live with him there. Kyle will think that with Tara in jail Ashland might allow him to raise Harrison with Summer. This is a bit selfish on Kyle's part considering Ashland is the only father the child has known for 3 years and that he might not have much time left.

Harrison's dilemma

Now that his mother is in jail Harrison needs some stability and moving to Italy with Summer and Kyle might be traumatizing for him. The boy has already been brought from New York to Genoa City and learned that he now has two dads. At some point, he will need an explanation for why his mother is missing, Kyle is not thinking any of this through and all he has on his mind is keeping his son with him and reuniting with Summer. If Ashland takes a turn for the worse or if he dies then naturally Kyle would get custody of his son.

There will probably be a bitter custody battle with no guarantee of who would win. Spoilers tease that Ashland might want Harrison to move in with him and Victoria and her children. Spoilers say that Nikki will tell Ashland and Victoria the details of what happened with Tara. Ashland will consider stripping her of her parental rights and go to the Abbott mansion to talk to Jack. The two men will argue about what is best for Harrison and Jack will bring up Ashland's terminal illness. Locke will announce that he is seeking treatment and may have longer to live than he originally believed.

When Chloe meets Sally

Jack was just beginning to get to know his grandson and now he might be losing Kyle, Summer, and Harrison. This will be a harsh blow for him along with finding out how devious Sally really is. A preview for next week on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS shoes Sally meeting Chloe. Spoilers say Lauren will fire Ms. Spectra who continues to deny all the accusations against her. Instead of admitting the truth or saying she is sorry, Sally will threaten Lauren that she will pay for this.

Lauren will point out that Ms. Sally is in no position to have such an attitude. Later is when Sally and Chloe meet and this will be nothing but trouble. Perhaps Sally will try get Chloe to put in a good word and she will go to work for Adam Newman. The redhead might even decide to make a play for Victor's son. This would no doubt infuriate Sharon who wants to stay married to Rey although she enjoys attention from Adam. It sounds like Sally will shake off the dust and bounce back by finding new victims. The situation with Skyle and Harrison is not quite so clear. There still has been no official last scene date for Kyle and Summer so stay tuned.
