Phyllis will soon return to her family on Y&R

Spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry tease that a mother-and-daughter reunion is coming for Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on The Young and the Restless., Summer has been filled with guilt over her mother's "death" and even visited Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in jail to gloat that she would never get out. Summer is so grief-stricken that she cannot even conceive of the possibility that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) framed Kyle Abbott's (Michael Mealor) mom.

Summer was so sure of herself that she told Kyle he was going to be wrong when the truth came out but the facts are not what she had been expecting. Fans of The Young and the Restless have said they are tired of Summer waking around with that scowl on her face and angry at the world. There are no specific details regarding how this situation will play out in the long run here is what is known thus far. The duo will run into each other in the park and reunite and Summer will cry tears of joy, Phyllis is going to fill her daughter in on Jeremy but it's not clear how much of the truth she will tell.

Will Phyllis get away with murder?

Phyllis may not admit to murdering him but will probably place 100% of the blame on her deceased spouse for framing Diane. Everyone in Genoa City might be so overjoyed that Phylis is alive and Stark is gone that they don't ask a lot of questions but perhaps Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will. He is already suspicious of Jeremy's actions and sudden disappearance. At some point, Phyllis might find that she did not cover her tracks so well and her role in framing Diane might come to light.

Earlier spoilers said Phylis was going to call Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and tell him that "He's ot me" but that has not happened yet. Spoiler alerts also said Michelle Stafford would be away from The Young and the Restless for a while but so far she is still around. On Friday Diane was resigning herself to go to prison so hopefully she will be cleared and viewers will not have to endure a long trial.

Is Red willing to mend her ways?

Jeremy came at his new bride with scissors first so she did kill him in self-defense but instead of calling the authorities, Phylis hid the body so the charges are stacking up against her. Murder, tampering with a crime scene ad obstruction of justice are only a few things she could be charged with. Summer will be excited to have her mom back but this means that a lot of other drama will unfold. She will have to eat crow regarding her attitude and Chance and Christine Wiliams (Lauralee Bell) will be puzzled by the new turn of events.

Y&R viewers have been saying all along that they did not think Phylis could remain away from her children much longer and the reunion with Summer will take place during the week of April 24. Those who watch The Young and the Restless are now wondering if Phyllis will be able to change her attitude toward Diane and if this ordeal has taught her anything. She is the one who brought Starkto Genoa City and made the choice to conspire with him but she may continue to blame Diane for getting mixed up with him in the first place.

Spoilers say next week SUmmer will receive a call from a number she does not recognize which is probably her mother's burner phone. She will go to the park out of curiosity and that's when the reunion will take place so be sure to tune in to The Young and the Restless.
