The hostages might have to work together

General Hospital viewers are discussing current events and most are in agreement with what has been taking place by land as well as on the sea, in Port Charles and abroad. May sweeps is coming up in the midst of the 60th anniversary and the action and adventure have been exciting, to say the least. Some fans are saying they just want this current storyline to be over but most are enjoying the ride.

Last week on General Hospital Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) grabbed Liesl Obrecht (Kathlene Gati) and held a knife to her throat. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) called his bluff and he let her go. Spencer only made this move to buy some time for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to sabotage the Haunted Star but she got caught and now Victor is raging. It's not clear if Obrecht caught on to what was going on or if she really believes her life was in danger.

On Thursday the tables were turned when Victor told his minions to throw Trina and Spencer overboard and Liesel asked him to stop. She said she needed Sprina as lab rats to test the concoction she is making for Victor. It's possible Obrecht only said this to keep "Heir Cassadine" from killing the duo but Trina and Spencer obviously believe she is serious about using them in the lab as they said they did not want to be her guinea pigs. Spencer is hoping Trina slowed the ship down enough for help to come but it does not look like they will be rescued while on the sea.

Victor is a madman

There has been no time for Obrecht to have a conversation with the teens so no one really knows what the other is up to. Perhaps when they arrive at the bunker in Venezuela Victor might leave them alone and the three can put their heads together and realize they are on the same side. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagoner), and Ethan Lovett (James Ryan) are all in Venezuela and spoilers say Victor will get a fitting sendoff. Any one of these individuals would be happy to be the one to get rid of the Cassadine maniac. He has become a madman willing to kill the innocent as well as his own flesh and blood.

General Hospital spoilers have not said whether or not Victor will die so he might make a grand escape. Constance Townes is supposed to return in May so she will add another layer of crazy to the situation. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is working with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to try to figure out where Victor is heading and fans are on the edge o their seats with all the twists and turns.

Wil the hostages trust each other?

If Liesel, Trina, and Spencer realize they can trust one another they might be able to figure out a way to stop Victor. Meanwhile, Felicia and crew might be headed their way or they all could unwittingly end up in the same place. Marcus Taggert (Real' Andrews) should be a part of this mission as Trina is his daughter but no one has even mentioned telling him what is going on.

Spoiler alerts indicate that there will be increased tension ad drama plus more twists and turns so General Hospital fans should be excited about whatever is coming next. Be on the lookout for updates to thsi fascinating store and make sure you tune in and don't miss any of the xciting episodes that are coming up.
