Comedy films stand out due to their ability to make people happy and joke irrespective of the situation available. Comedy movies over the years have gone on to be despised in the realm where one cannot afford to get enough of them as they continue watching . 1."Some Like It Hot" (1959) -This classic comedy directed by Billy Wilder in 1959 follows the hilarious escapades of two musicians who pretend to be women in order to escape from the mafia. 2."Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975) -This cult favorite was directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones, and it contains far-fetched humour and lines likely to be remembered. (1980), directed by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker, was a well-known satire based on disaster movies, which was a source of comedy and sight gags spread quickly over several scenes. 4.Groundhog Day” - One of the funniest movies that everyone should watch - was made in 1993 with Bill Murray acting and Harold Ramis directing it. This film captures the life of an unhappy weatherman who is forced to relive the same events day after day until something changes in his mindset towards them. With Bill’s great timing and an examination into being, it has remained undisputedly popular.

5.The Big Lebowski is a strange comedy from 1998 by the Coen brothers. Jeff Bridges portrays The Dude, an easygoing slacker caught up in an unusual kidnapping plan. The movie is cult classic because of its unique characters and oddball jokes, which have never gone out of style despite being released in 1998.

6."Superbad" (2007) is a movie that was directed by Greg Mottola and produced by Judd Apatow. The plot is about two high school friends who are going through the last moments of their youth and what they think is going to be the best party of their lives. As they embark on a quest to bring alcohol, they encounter different challenges on the way. It is filled with emotional scenes as well as vulgar ones alike therefore touching people regardless their ages.

7.“The Grand Budapest Hotel” directed by Anderson which is a comedy-drama known for its visual appeal. This hotel has been described as an imaginatively whimsical place located somewhere in Europe during the period of World War 2. By featuring his usual cast, it becomes an eye-catching experience; "The Grand Budapest Hotel" features a unique series of actors harmoniously matched with dialogues that are sharp-tongued.

8.Taika Waititi directed the satirical black comedy Jojo Rabbit in the year 2019. It tells the story of a German boy who found out that her mother had kept a Jewish girl in the house during the Nazi period. Jojo rabbit combines jokes and touching bits to handle weighty issues while still being funny; thus it received positive reviews from critics and many prizes.
