'The Young and the Restless' has another crossover episode with 'The Bold and the Beautiful'

'THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' will soon have another crossover episode with sister soap THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Keith Carlos who portrays Danny the Bartender on B&B at the Bikini Bar will find himself and his son at the park in Genoa City. The little boy will be portrayed by the actor's real son 3-year-old Kieth Carlos Jr. Danny has been a recurring role on the soap since 2018. Viewers will recognize him as one of the individuals who assisted Ridge the night he got drunk and slept upstairs above the bar.

Keith Carlos is a former wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants whose career ended when he was injured. He is also a former fashion model who became the first male winner of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL and also modeled during fashion shows for Forrester Creations on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL prior to his role as a bartender. It's not known why Danny is so far away from home but while he and his son are enjoying their day, they will run into Kyle Abbot (Michael Mealor) and his son Harrison, (Kellen Enriquez).

The crossover episodes between the two CBS soaps are always fun to watch and the last one was when Dollar Bill Spencer went from LA to Genoa City. It's not clear why Kieth Carlos is being brought back after so much time away from THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Perhaps the writers may have something in store for his character on one soap or the other that may become more permanent. It's also possible that this is simply a one time deal and Carlos and his son auditioned and were right for the roles.

This more than likely will take place in Chancellor Park which is a popular spot for Genoa City residents. Spoilers suggest that Danny might offer Kyle some tips on parenting his 3 year old son that he just found out about. Many fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS believe that Kyle and his family are falling in love with a little boy who may turn out not to be an Abbott after all. The child's mother Tara has proven that she will lie when it suits her.

She had an affair with Kyle Abbott but did not immediately tell her husband. She allowed her spouse to raise her son for 3 years assuming the boy was his. When Ashland Locke found out about the relationship with Kyle, Tara lied about the time frame in order to keep Ashland from suspecting the little boy was not his. Now the alleged truth is out because of a DNA test that many Y&R viewers believe was tampered with. Ashland is going to run his own test and no one knows for certain what the results will be.

The "Lockeness" monster is ruthless so he could have the new results say that he is the boy's dad and take him away from both Tara and Kyle. This storyline is supposed to go on through the summer but there have been no spoilers to indicate how everything will turn out. In the meantime, Kyle is doing all he can to learn the ins and outs of parenthood. His fiancee Summer Newman is having a hard time dealing with the situation and fears that Kyle and Tara might grow closer to one another.

It's been a while since any characters on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL have needed to bear their souls to Danny the bartender but current storylines could send a few of them in his direction. There is no news as to whether Keith Carlos will be joining THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, or if his character will be returning to LA and reprising his character on B&B. Fans don't know if Danny Wells is married, divorced, or a single dad but that is sure to come out in his conversation with Kyle. The episode is scheduled to air on June 14 so be sure to tune in.
