Fans of The Young and the Restless who are hoping for something new and different for February sweeps will be disappointed. There will be a number of situations that play out as they have in the past. Some of these storylines will involve familiar characters. Others will be a replay of certain circumstances but only with different Genoa City residents. The following is what is being projected by Soap Dirt and Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Victor and Adam

Once again, Victor Newman will choose Adam over the rest of his family. Nikki, Victoria, and Nick will not be in agreement. Victor, who believes his word is sovereign will demand loyalty and expect everyone to get on board. Victor and Adam go back and forth with their dysfunction and the rest of the family is expected to fall in line based on Victor's whims. Adam should have been cut off when he changed his name to Wilson and should have gone his own way. Instead, viewers must endure yet another round of drama between Victor and his son. Spoilers also say that Sharon will agree to help Adam to get Chelsea to push herself to recover.

Billy and Victoria

Now that Billy is serious about Lily, Victoria wants him back. She will be trying to discredit Lily as she once did Phyllis. She has been lying and using the children to interrupt the time her former spouse would spend with Mrs. Ashby. Now Victoria will change her game plan and begin trying to plant seeds of doubt regarding Lily. It had been looking as if Billy was on the Vicki and calling her out but in time she might wear him down. She seems to only not desire to see him happy with anyone else, more than she truly loves him and wants him back.

Elena, Nate, and Devon

Elena will confide in Lola that she spent the night with Devon. She will later run into Nate who will say he hopes she did not stay anywhere she did not want to be during the snowstorm. Elena and Dr. Hastings are supposed to be in a committed relationship but Devon and Amanda have yet to define what is between them or even act on it. Devon and Elena will decide their night together did not mean they will reunite but Nate and Amanda might see things differently. Fans were hoping this love triangle would resolve itself but it may go on on a while longer.

Chance and Abby

Abby and Chance will hit another roadblock in their attempt to have a child. Just when Marriah and Tessa are both onboard there will be some devastating news. In addition to her scar tissue, they will find out that he has a low sperm count. Chance will be angry and blaming himself because he thinks it is a result of the medication he took after being shot. There is a chance that this situation could reverse itself but that will take time and Abby is ready for a baby now.

Summer, Kyle, and Sally

Kyle and Summer found out about Sally's past while in LA but she is going to have something to hold over their heads. Theo is going to tell Sally something relating to Kyle while he was in New York. He already brought Zoe to Genoa City to try to stop the wedding to Lola. It would seem if he knew something else damaging that it would have already been revealed at this point. Soap Dirt suggests it could the fact that Kyle made a bet with Summer regarding sleeping with Billy.

This took place long after Kyle returned to genoa City from New York so it must be another secret. This also does not make sense because Theo warned Summer about Sally before he left town for Paris. Jack warned his nephew to keep out of trouble and make the family proud. Why would he now turn on Kyle yet again and help Sally whom he told Summer was after her job and also Kyle. It looks like Sally is going to have the upper hand but it will not be for long. She will eventually be found out and hopefully, Jack and Lauren will kick her to the curb.
