There has been a lot of hype surrounding the coming takedown of ChancComm but few details have been supplied to those who watch The Young and the Restless. All that is known is that on Friday, November 12, Billy Abbitt and Lily Winters will get what is coming to them for trying to play in the major leagues. There is an old saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting but never receiving a different result.

Those who enjoy The Young and the Restless are conflicted where Billy Abbott is concerned. The writers have been making him unlikable for quite some time now. First, there was the gum chewing Billy who was hallucinating and spending time with Amanda and getting on Victoria's last nerve. There were rumors that Jason Thompson would be written out of the CBS soap but he remained.

Billy began hanging around Lily Winters and viewers suspected he would break her heart, but instead she seemed to be a good influence on him. Jill put them together at ChancComm and the duo seemed like a good fit. It appeared that Billy was maturing and becoming a better version of himself. Once Victoria hooked up with Ashland Locke the downward spiral began.

Victor Newman is now using Jesse Gaines to set a trap for Billy and Lily will be collateral damage. Spoilers have not yet detailed what is going to happen but will only say that it will be pretty bad. Whatever takes place is supposed to happen this Friday and will shake the duo up. Billy messed up so bad thsi time that even Vicki would not go to bat for him with her father. On Tuesday Nikki was concerned that the fallout might somehow hurt Johnny and Katie but she was assured it would not. Nikki was also concerned about Ashland's health being affected but only time will tell with that.

Lily knew that Billy was trouble when she decided to date him but took the chance anyway. Spoilers have given conflicting information regarding how this will turn out. Some have said that Lily will leave Billy while others indicate that when Jess Walton returns to Genoa City she will fire her son and leave ChanceCom in Lily's hands to run alone. Adam offered her a job with Newman Media but she probably would not take it after everything hits the fan. Billy is an addict and loves to take unreasonable gambles. He is also obsessed with his former wife and as Lily can now see it causes huge problems.

Spoilers have teased that whatever is going to take place will shake Billy and Lily to the core and ruin ChancComm. Victor loved Neil Winters and some fans assumed he would not do anything to hurt the daughter of his deceased friend. Victor's attitude is that anyone who gets involved with Bill Boy Abbott deserves what they get. Billy should have heeded Lily's first instinct and never gotten involved with Jesse Gaines. This is a messy situation and Victor has no doubt paid Gaines handsomely for his role in the scheme.

Viewers are wondering what Victor, Adam,, and Ashland have planned and whether or not it will live up to the hype. Y&R viewers can only tune in Friday to find out what takes place and whether or not it will ruin Billy's life. Jill's son has such promise but the writers continue to make him a loser. Be sure to tune in Friday to find out what takes place and how bad it will really be. Keep watching for breaking news, updates, and spoilers for The Young and the Restless.
