The Young and the Restless: Adam and Rey continue their mistrust of one another

The Young and the Restless Tuesday recap: Rey is suspicious

Tuesday on The Young and the Restless while at Society, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) were seated at a table near Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Rey observed that Adam seemed pretty happy despite the scandal that was being revealed that affects Newman Media. Sharon did not desire her husband to spend the evening psychoanalyzing her former lover. Rey ignored his wife and began watching Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) who just walked into the restaurant and began talking with Adam. Rey could sense that whatever was taking place between the two men was pretty intense.

The Young and the Restless: Gaines causes problems

Rey often suspects Adam when he is innocent but this time he is on to something. He began to suspect Adam had made his own deal with Gaines and wondered once again wonder why Adam was so calm. Sharon reminded her spouse that it was not his case and did her best to convince him to focus on their night together. Even so, Rey still stole a glance at Gaines as he was leaving.

Adam walked over to Rey’s table pretending that he had been chastising Gaines for what he was trying to do to Ashland. Rey did not buy any of it and Adam pointed out that that Billy made a threat prior to the story being published and said it was blackmail. He adds “Now that can’t be legal, can it?” Adam is pretty smug right now and Rey is not sure what to make of it. Newman Medias is the one who broke the law by hacking Chanc Comm but no one knows that at this point.

The Young and the Restless: Rey and Adam cannot leave each other alone

This situation is yet another way to keep Adam in Rey's orbit. Sharon is doing her best to leave Adam in the past but the cat and mouse game between her ex and her current husband continues. The fallout for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be great and no one will believe they were set up by the Newmans. Rey might become curious and do a bit of investigating.

Rey will latch onto anything that he can use against Adam and perhaps in time, Billy might give him enough amunition so that he can start digging. Adam loves it when Sharon's husband is on edge, off guard and to keep him guessing, Rey will not be able to help himself and Adam will believe he and Victor are invincible, Sharon will be troubled that Rey continues to be obsessed with Adam and that she is unable to get through to him. This will cause tension in the marriage but it's not likely that Shaddam will reunite.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam and RFey's animosity continues

In the immediate future spoilers tease that Adam will have his hands full with Sally and Chelsea Lawson ( Melissa Claire Egan). There is akways the possibility that Sharon might get jealous and if she does her husband will steo up trying to nail Adam. Victor and his son believing they are untouchable might just be what exposes their crime down the road. Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) is scheduled to return to Genoa City and she will be trying to get to the bottom of all the problems.

If Rey is able to finally pin something on Adam he will feel vindicated but he would have to take Victor down as well. If this happens it will not be any time soon and along the way Adam and Rey will continue to circle each other with suspicion.
