Tara admits the truth and shows no remorse on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Perhaps Ashland's wife should have been named the Lockness monster because she is proving to be a heartless ice queen.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS who were expecting Tara Locke to show even a little remorse were greatly disappointed after Thursday's episode. Ashland's wife lets Jack and Kyle know that she is a heartless ice queen who only cares about getting her way. Perhaps she was the true Lockness monster in the family as his ex seems to be expressing more compassion.

Ashland appears to be in love with Victoria Newman and if he is pretending he is doing a really good job. When Jack confronted Tara she told her story of her selfish motives without blinking an eye. When Kyle came home and confronted her Tara had the nerve to tell him to lower his voice because of Harrison. She stood without batting an eyelash and holding her ground as if she were proud of all she did to secure a life for herself and her son.

Longtime soap fans may recall in the 1960s when Robin Strausswer portrayed Rachel Davis on ANOTHER WORLD. She seduced Steve Frame (George Reinholt) who was engaged to the sweet Alice Matthews (Jacqueline Courtney). When Rachel turned up pregnant viewers were so angry that they attacked Strauser in public and she said that one spat at her. Tara forcing Summer to leave town and using her son puts her on that level. Hopefully, Skyle fans will keep in mind that Elizabeth Leiner is only portraying a character and will not resort to cyberbullying or attacking her in person.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers know that Skyle will reunite even if it takes place off screen so where does that leave scheming Tara? She stood looking at Kyle at the end of Thursday's episode with a determined smirk on her face. Tara seemed to be daring him to kick her out because she knows he is afraid of losing his son. Spoilers keep hinting at a daring move that Kyle will make but no one knows what it will be.

Kyle cannot take Harrison away from his mom and Ashland because he has no legal rights to the boy at this point. Would Kyle leave Genoa City to be with Summer and Jack allow Tara and Harrison to remain in his home? Elizabeth Leiner is on contract with THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS but Michael Mealor's leaving the show puts her character in a bind. Tara as no friends in town and her only contact is Sally who is a frenemy.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS abruptly fired Gina Tognoni as Phyllis in order to bring Michelle Stafford back so they could easily terminate Tara's contract. Viewers find it interesting that Ashland was being portrayed as the ruthless one but now everyone can see that his ex-wife is the real beast.

Fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are also wondering about the fate of Courtney Hope who seems to have burned all of her bridges. Phyllis has just hacked into Tara's financial records for her shoe company and it's looking like Mrs. Locke is in trouble. Phyllis will probably notify Lauren who will not finalize the deal she has with Tara. The Abbotts will take care of Harrison if indeed he is Kyle's son but Tara will be in big trouble financially.

She lost out with Ashland because of the prenup and now her partnership with Lauren will not come about. Jack and Kyle will naturally give her enough to live comfortably with Harrison but not a penny more. Be sure to tune in Friday and find out what the ice queen does next. Thus far she is expressing no remorse for her actions but that could all change in an instnat.
