Brandon T. Jackson’s Hollywood Reinvention by NWO SPARROW The Comeback Kid Brandon T. Jackson leans back in his chair, arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips. "Man, Hollywood tried to put me in a box labeled 'funny sidekick' and call it a day," he says on the Breakfast Club during a recent promo run of his new STARZ show "Trap City". Stronger Than a Buller, Softer Than a Heartbeat
In July 2025, James Gunn, acclaimed for his work on Disney’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, embraced a narrative path that many superhero and comic book storytellers have previously shied away from. With Superman: Legacy, Gunn delves into the mythic origins of Superman—Clark Kent, or Kal-El—as an immigrant. He portrays him not merely as an alien or the last son of Krypton with god-like powers, but as a profoundly human character shaped by his outsider identity, his alienness, his otherness, and his difference. This time, his cape doesn't conceal his true nature.

"Beyond the Gates" Week 18 Review
So I'm late with this recap, but this time, it's only partially my fault. Most of the blame is on CBS, and as much as I want to say why this early in the story, I'll wait a bit for that, and all I'll say for now is that your wait won't be as long as CBS' for sure. But anyway, it was the final full week in June (June 23-27), the Cup was awarded, the NBA Champions were crowned, and, but Beyond the Gates remained hot.

Zero Day
Being on a summer break gives me an opportunity to catch up with some TV shows and movies. So, I just binge-watched Zero Day, a 6-episode political thriller produced by Netflix that is based on 2011 David Baldacci's book. Robert De Niro plays George Mullen, a former US president who was tasked with heading a special investigation commission after America experienced a one-minute cyber attack on computer systems that killed over 3,000 people and wreaked havoc on the country's infrastructure.

The Challenge: Vets & New Threats Male Pre-Season Power Rankings
The Challenge is back for its 41st season its Vets and New Threats. It seems like the vets and rookies will be pairing together like War of the Worlds. I do like that idea as it makes some rookies stay longer. This theme was on War of the Worlds and we got some amazing rookies. I already made a pre-season power rankings for the females on the show but this will be the pre-season male list.
