In the words of the immortal Homer Simpson, "woo hoo!" Everyone's favorite cartoon family has been a staple on television for almost thirty years and it certainly does not show any signs of slowing down.

"Say Goodbye to These, Michael!" Appreciating the Running Gag: a Staple in Comedic Television
Besides having diehard fanbases, long-time running TV comedies share another commonality: the Running Gag. #TheRunningGag is defined as "a joke whose humor derives from repetition, ideally becoming funnier each time it is repeated."

Why 'The Good Doctor' Advocates for More Than Mental Health
Many have seen, if not heard of, ABC's new show The Good Doctor, which shares a story about Dr. Shaun Murphy and his journey as a doctor and individual. Dr. Murphy is unique in his own right, having been diagnosed with both Autism—rather, the higher functioning version of Aspergers—and Savant syndrome. Personally, I believe, especially in today's world, that mental health is often spared from many conversations; yet when we stop to reflect, we realize how important our mental health is in order to live a better life. This is definitely a show to help us as a society to get there. The show brings to light common aspects that are often overlooked, such as prejudices, mental health, and themes like honesty, determination to beat criticism, and real-life situations among many others with a bit of comic relief to pacify the mood.

'Star Trek' With Swearing
First thing I have to say: “Charlie Brooker, you let us down! Where was our 2017 wipe?" Why I Love 'Yu-Gi-Oh!'
When I look back at the anime that I fell in love with—his was back in the summer of 2015—I always thank my younger self for getting into Yu-Gi-Oh!, this amazing, inspiring anime that I will never forget and let go. I've learned so much from this anime like friendship, Egyptian history, the card game (duel monsters), and it even makes my day smile.

Characters Who Ruined Good TV Shows from Being Great Ones
Some TV shows are based around annoying characters, and this can work well if that is the intent, take Michael Scott from The Office as the perfect example. Michael is annoying and incredibly diluted but somehow it all works seamlessly, and at times he even comes off as endearing.

Popular TV Shows with Terrible Final Seasons
When you think about the best TV series of all-time, they usually saved some of the best moments for the series finale and the final season. Shows like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and The Wire are fondly remembered for their incredible final seasons that ended the show perfectly. On the other hand, there are great shows that had dumpster fire endings. Fans of shows like Lost and How I Met Your Mother are still bitter from the way those series ended. There are plenty of disappointing endings to choose from, but these are ten TV shows with terrible final seasons.
