Villainess Review: Heather Glass (CSI: Vegas)
I'm a big fan of the CSI franchise, which has been on TV, on and off, for 23 years. It all started back in 2000 with the original CSI series, and it was followed by spinoffs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, as well as the short-lived CSI: Cyber series. The abrupt cancellation of Cyber ended the franchise, but it was resurrected with the premiere of CSI: Vegas, which served as a continuation of the original series that aired between 2000 and 2015. The series also serves as a continuation of another trait from the franchise: delivering huge in the villainess department.
Clyde E. DawkinsPublished about a year ago in GeeksMy Review of "The Banshees of Inisherin"
The Banshees of Inisherin is a smaller movie that came out back in 2022. There was a bit of a buzz about it but it didn't really peak my interest for a while. I didn't know what to make out of it. The trailers made it seem like some sort of period buddy movie. In a way it is.

"Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" is a lively and entertaining film, featuring the charming and dashing titular feline. 11 years after his first solo feature, the paradox of the adventurous and adorable kitty from the "Shrek" universe remains intact. With his suave and silly sides, Antonio Banderas once again gives a charismatic and sensitive performance as the voice of the feline.
Jeno TrashanPublished about a year ago in Geeks“M3GAN”-A Movie Review
Creepy doll movies get a needed upgrade with the sassy and sinister “M3GAN.” Cinema’s newest “friend till the end” is a cutting-edge robot with blond hair, caustic attitude and a killer protective streak who's equally hilarious and unnerving. Produced by horror masters Jason Blum and James Wan ("The Conjuring"), “M3GAN” (★★★ out of four; rated PG-13; in theaters now) satisfies with slasher gusto, “Black Mirror”-esque satire and social media savvy. It’s also just plain fun to watch a film that packs a healthy amount of absurdity alongside an insightful exploration of 21st-century parenting, though you might never trust Alexa ever again afterward.

Marielle SabbagPublished about a year ago in Geeks"Wandering Earth II"- A Movie Review
Time runs out in carefully marked units in the mainland Chinese sci-fi disaster pic “The Wandering Earth II,” a sturdy prequel to the record-smashing adaptation of Liu Cixin’s novel. In “The Wandering Earth II,” the apocalyptic problems faced by this movie’s Chinese characters—along with their international peers from the United Earth Government (UEG)—have already happened. Because in “The Wandering Earth,” the planet has already left its orbit thanks to some high-powered rocket engines, which have pushed the Earth out of harm’s way (aka a crash course with the Sun). Set in the near-future—a range of dates that includes 2044, 2058, and 2065—“The Wandering Earth II” follows China’s men and women of action as they lead the planet out of the solar system and into the previous movie.

In a film with such great and memorable scenes, one scene portrayed as a flashback stands out amongst the rest. V for Vendetta is a fictional movie based on a graphic novel by Alan Moore but its focus on what happens when a totalitarian dictatorship rises to power in the fact of domestic and international calamities is relevant to what’s happened throughout history.

The Legend Bill Russell : Bill Russell is considered one of the greatest basketball players in history. He was a dominant force on the court, particularly on defense, where he changed the game with his inventive blocked shots. Off the court, Russell was known for his intelligence and hard work, always preparing and visualizing his moves before trying them in a game.
