Once Napoleon Dynamite did hit the mainstream in wide release the hype proved to be very real, Napoleon Dynamite was a phenomenon.

The Joker is an R-rated DC Comics sequel that led a minute Nane standing ovation at the premiere at the Venice Film Festival for a sultry-looking Harlequin-colored city rot and a tour de force performance by Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, an unknown party clown that will be Batman's most feared mission one day. A film based on the character of DC Comics and Joaquin Phoenix as Joker, giving the story of the character's possible background. Joker Phoenix is directed by Todd Phillips (The Old School, The Hangover Trilogy) and presents a good performance, but nothing surprising and we feel like there is no effort to take action.

Tolkien’s work starts today with The Hobbit – a trilogy preceding The Lord of the Rings trilogy (as some of you may know), yet a trilogy that falls far behind its predecessor, The Lord of the Rings, in almost every way. So today I’m here to share my opinion and some light on why The Desolation of Smaug (the second installment of The Hobbit trilogy), is the only Hobbit worth re-watching, or perhaps even watching – cutting your viewing time down from about nine hours, to three. And to the short attention span folk, you are most welcome!

Try-hard is a term used to describe people who desperately want to be accepted by a group of people but their effort renders them pathetic and roundly rejected. Try-hard is an apt description of the new Broadway film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen. The film starring Ben Platt as the title character, Evan, tries very hard to make you like Evan and identify with him, and feel sorry for his outsider plight. However, the sweaty, pathetic obviousness of the attempt renders it completely unwelcome.
