MCU Recap
Well we can’t truly recap the MCU if we only discuss the movies so here we go we are going to recap ONLY the Disney+ MCU shows, this list will not include anything that happened on Netflix or networks. Though it is canon it doesn’t actually have any impact over the MCU as it stands now so Disney+ shows only.

BoJack Horseman
While we are talking about character or plot driven stories we have to talk about another show that helped me make breakthroughs in therapy, BoJack Horseman. When we talk about shows that deal with mental health this absolutely has to be on the list. A comedy that confronts every personal struggle you’ve ever had in a way that is fun but gut wrenching. BoJack Horseman is one of the rawest, most powerful pieces of media that exists and I saw this with no hyperbole. It changed my life.

Let the Games Begin
I have been stuck in a reading rut for quite some time. I have had a few books going here and there, but nothing that I could seem to stay focused on. As I was taking inventory of my classroom library, I set aside Suzanne Collins’ book, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” the prequel to her Hunger Games series. I have not read any of the Hunger Games books since they were first released, but every year I use excerpts from the books and various clips from the films in a curriculum unit that I teach about heroic survivalism. I started to read that afternoon after I wrapped up work in my classroom, and I found myself coming out of the reading rut that I had been stuck in for so long.
