This prom is for everybody. Nobody is left out.

The Palace Theatre presents the dazzling production of The Prom. Emma, a high school student, is banned from attending prom because of her sexuality. A group of star-studded narcissistic Broadway actors come to the rescue and teach the community an unforgettable lesson.

In a spectacular display of talent and emotion, The Palace Theatre's production of The Prom takes audiences on a heartwarming journey. It’s an entertaining show that makes you want to dance. This Broadway hit brings together phenomenal acting, powerful storytelling, and a socially relevant message, making it a must-see for all.

The incredible Michelle Rajotto is extraordinary as Dee Dee Allen with vocals that magnitude throughout the theater. Paired with her, Jay Falzone as Barry Glickman adds a perfect touch of humor to the mix. Falzone's hilarious portrayal of Barry is also endearing, making him a standout character in the ensemble.

Katie Ann Harvey as Angie Dickinson and Richard Chaz Gomez as Trent Oliver round out this stellar quartet, each delivering a fantastic solo song of their own. The quartet’s chemistry and individual talents create a captivating dynamic,

The true showstopper, however, is Julianna Chimenti as Emma. Chimenti's powerful portrayal of Emma deserves praise for her unwavering dedication to giving a voice to the LGBTQ community. Her chemistry with Camille Graciella Theriault (Alyssa) is palpable. Together, they navigate the challenges presented in the storyline.

The ensemble lit up the stage in energetic dance sequences. No part is ever small in the theater. Mr. Hawkins (Taye Martin) never stopped fighting for Emma’s rights. As a conservative parent, Mrs. Greene (Jill Pennington) is taught a valuable lesson from her child. The rest of the ensemble is wonderful and respectful of the subject matter.

The production's visual elements are equally impressive. A show is never put on its feet alone. The use of rainbow lighting, striking visual backgrounds, and dazzling costumes creates a visually stunning atmosphere that complements the narrative beautifully. Visuals of a school and motel made excellent backdrops. Emma’s colorful bedroom is the best set!

In addition to the striking visuals, the show's soundtrack is a triumph, featuring memorable songs such as 'Tonight Belongs to You,' 'It's Not About You,' and 'Just Breathe.' Each musical number is expertly delivered by the cast, adding depth to the characters and enhancing the overall emotional experience for the audience.

Director Carl Rajotte raised the curtain on love. Rajotte handles the storyline with sensitivity and authenticity. The show is a meaningful conversation that tackles themes of sexuality and self-discovery. It encourages conversations about sexuality, instead of avoiding the topic.

The Prom is not just a theatrical performance; it is a celebration of love, acceptance, and freedom to be who we are. Stories like The Prom are a necessity to help build a safe community.

Audience reaction is my favorite part of any show. The Prom has several heartwarming and funny moments, but it has some heavy scenes. This show will make you feel an assortment of emotions. Act 1 concludes with an unfair dilemma that will likely anger viewers. I will never forget an audience member vocally gasping in response to a character’s tough decision.

Everyone had a good time cheering and applauding after each song. The dance at the conclusion is a dance-hopping good time. The energy was so contagious that I wanted to jump on the stage and join the cast. Wear your favorite outfit (or even a prom dress) and attend The Prom at The Palace Theater in Manchester, New Hampshire. It’s a remarkable time for all to enjoy.
