Parry Shen

Parry Shen fans will be happy to know that he will soon return to General Hospital. His character Brad Cooper was last seen in the hospital after being stabbed in prison. Cyrus Renault sent one of his goons to attack Brad on behalf of Julian Jerome. Now that Julian is dead, perhaps Brad might get some type of reprieve. It’s not known whether or not upon his return if he will be seen in jail or if he is still in the hospital. His buddy Liesl Obrecht is back in Pirt Charles and making mischief so who knows when or why Brad is going to appear. Some spoilers suggest he and Felix will vie for the affections of Lucas. This is something that happened between the three years ago and most fans do not desire a repeat performance.

The return of Brad Cooper could be related to Britt and Jason trying to take down Cyrus. Spoilers don’t say how long Shen will stick around but only that he will be back in Port Charles. Now that Britt is the chief of staff she could easily hire him back if he was released from prison good behavior. Other spoilers are teasing that his old pal Nelle may resurface from the dead to cause him harm. Nelle’s body was identified but viewers never saw her. Now that the truth is out that she is Nina’s daughter some fans as well as spoiler alerts think she might show up.

Parry Shen has been on General Hospital since 2013 and has a long list of other acting credits. If his face seems familiar perhaps you have seen him on some of the other programs where he had roles. Shen is best known as Ben Manibag, in the seminal Asian American film, Better Luck Tomorrow (2002). He also had a main role in Hatchet, Hatchet II and Hatchet III. Shen appeared in The New Guy (2002) and portrayed Luke, in Yes We're Open. He was also in The Gene Generation and Rule of 3. Parry Shen was on the following television shows: NCIS: Los Angeles (as Ty), MADTv (as Chin-Hwa Dak) and Criminal Minds (as Bobby Kim).

He was also on Brothers & Sisters (as Dan Silk), Veronica Mars (as Hsiang 'Charleston' Chu), Thief (as Billy 'Shrimp Boy' Kwan), Without a Trace (as Steven Park), Tru Calling (as Tyler Li), Holliston (as Trent), NCIS (TV series) (asas Ben Richmond), Sabrina the Teenage Witch (as Seth), Party of Five (as Kyle), Cousin Skeeter (as Billy Blowfield), Chicago Hope (as Harry Lensky), The King of Queens (as stockboy), Malibu, CA (as Kip), Beverly Hills 90210 (as Staffer), Suddenly Susan (as Robert), Caroline in the City (as Tim), and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (as student). Shen also played various characters on the TV series Asia Street Comedy (2004).

In addition the actor does voiceovers. He lends his voice to the character Takeda Takahashi in "Mortal Kombat X" (2015), Winston Chu in Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs (2012), Mogu Zai in Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria (2012), and Tang/Privateer/Thug in Far Cry 3 (2012). He has been married to Kim Shen since 2002 and the couple has 2 children. His career is impressive but General Hosputal fans desire to see him back in Port Charles full time.

Brad is responsible for his actions in keeping the Wiley secret but was manipulated by Nelle, Obrecht, and Julian. Only time will tell if the Corinthian family will forgive him but they should. Carly right now has been keeping from Nina the fact that Nelle was her daughter. Sonny threatened Brad yet he and his wife were keeping another woman from her child. This is pretty hypocritical. Be on the lookout for updates regarding a return date and storylines related to Brad Cooper on General Hospital.
