One of the highlights of the Super Bowl each year is the commercials. In 2020 there was a popular add for Doretoes featuring rapper Lil Nas and veteran actor Sam Elliot. This year for game 55, popular couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have teamed up for a Super Bowl Cheerios commercial. The duo have not truly worked together since they were on That 70’s Show but agreed to the add. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis first met in 1998 when both were cast on That 70’s Show. They portrayed Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart who fell in love and dated off and on. At one point Kelso felt he had to propose but when Jackie turned him down, they both were happy.

Kelso left town and Jackie moved into the apartment that he had been sharing with Fez who was portrayed by Wilmer Valderamma. Kutcher went on to his film debut in 1999 in the romantic comedy Coming Soon. This was followed in 2000 by Dude, Where's My Car? which became a box office hit. In 2003, Kutcher appeared in Just Married and My Boss's Daughter. In 2003, he created and produced the wildly popular television series Punk'd, He also was the host for the first eight of its ten seasons. In 2004, Ashton Kutcher had the lead role of the film The Butterfly Effect.

In addition to That 70’s Show, Mila Kunis has been the voice Meg Griffin on the animated show Family Guy since 1999.She was in the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall in 2008 and Black Swan in 2010. She also had roles in Max Payne, The Book of Eli, Bad Moms andBad Moms Christmas. When she began on That 70’s show Kunis was only 14 and lied that she was about to be 18. Ashton Kutcher who would be her on screen boyfriend was 19 at the time. When the truth came out, about her age, her acting skills were so impressive that the executives at the show allowed her to remain.

Mila Kunis admits that her first kiss ever was on screen with her costar Ashton Kutcher and that she had a huge crush on him at the time. She remembered him as the Calvin Klein model and thought Kutcher was cute. Ashton, on the other hand reveals that he saw Mila as a little sister. Many fans noticed the chemistry between the duo and expressed that the couple should date in real-time. Of course no one realized the age difference at the time but now it does not matter. Both moved on with life but hooked up years later and have now been married for 5 years.

It would be 14 years before Kutcher and Kunis caught up with each other again. They both were presenters at the 69 Golden Globr Awards in January 2012. He had come out of a long term relationship with Demi Moore and she had broken up with McCaully Calkin. The couple began dating and in April of that year moved in together. They married 3 years later in 2015 and have 2 children. Mila admitted that the commercial gave her a chance to work again and also have a break from the kids whom they have been cooped up with because of the pandemic.

In a promo for the Super Bowl commercial Kutcher is shown I a dark room opening an envelope with black and white photos. The impression given is that there is something nefarious going on. In a separate clip Kunis is shown rehearsing lines in front of a mirror. She shouts through tears, “ You think I would do that to you after all we’ve been through?” Somehow these teasers will come together to promote the new crunch pop Cheetos. Fans of Kunis and Kutcher will be elated to see them together again.

Super Bowl 55 airs on Sunday February 7. Be sure to be on the lookout for the Cheetos commercial stating Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
