This week on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Victor Newman will take steps to unite his family and in the process attempt to destroy one of his long time enemies. Spoilers tease that the Newman patriarch will begin manipulating people and situations yet again. Viewers had been wondering what the "mustache" was going to be sinking his teeth into now that Victoria is running Newman Enterprises and Victor seemed to be doing nothing for a while. That season is obviously over and he is coming at his enemies with his guns blazing.

Now his plans are being revealed and Victor is in rare form. When he runs into Ashland Locke, the Lockenes monster will seem to have no hard feelings about the way his company was taken from him. Viewers will remember that as Ashland was having a heart attack Victor dialed a 9 and a 1.He promised the Lockeness monster that he would dial the final 1 after Ashland signed Cytaxeres over to him and he did, Victor has given the media company to Adam to run which infuriates both Victoria and Billy.

Victor will rename the conglomerate Newman Media and Adam will be at the helm. Lily and Billy already expect the Newmans to come after Chance Com and they are doing their best to be proactive. Bil-Li is expecting Victor told Adam that he wants to crush Billy boy and it’s obvious he does not care that Lily and Jill will be collateral damage. He wants Adam to give Bi/li some major trouble and even try to take over the company that Jill has them running, Victoria still cares for her ex-husband and does not want to see her father hurt him.

Vicki is grateful that Adam saved Faith’s life but she does not like it when Victor seems to favor him. The more her dad reaches out to her younger brother the more Victoria will resent them both. Last week Ashland Locke spent time with Victoria and they had a few drinks. Spoilers tease that these two might get together and come up with a way to pay Victor back. In the meantime, the Newman patriarch is going to try to convince Adam and Nick to spend more time together. He had already spoken to both sons about how pleased he is that they are making progress.

Neither Adam nor Nick has any illusions about being best buddies and they wish their dad would leave well enough alone. Victor, however, is hopeful his sons will grow closer. He also is going to try to convince Nick to work with his brother at Newman Media. Victor wants Adam and his older sibling to bond as brothers, work side by side in the new family business, and also help him deal with Billy Abbott. This is all a long shot but it gives Victor a goal to achieve. The Newman patriarch is feeling pretty good after dealing the deal with Ashland and getting Chelsea to confess to her crimes. Now he believes anything is possible.

Abby is the only one of Victor’s children who is not currently in the line of fire. She is busy preparing for Mariah to give birth to her child and is not involved in either of the family businesses. Some who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS say they are tired of the feud between Victor and Billy. Jack and his former nemesis seem to have a truce of sorts and Victor now had his sights set on the younger Abbott brother. All of this is in the beginning stages and could go on any direction.

Will Adam and Billy attempt to please their father by taking steps to grow closer, probably not. Will Nick accept his dad’s offer to work at Newman media> Most viewers don't think so. Can Victoria and Ashland bring her dad down? It's not likely but Victor ruining Chance Com and Vicki getting back with Billy are pretty much guaranteed so stay tuned.
