So by now, I'm certain you have heard about the over $50 BILLION deal Disney made to acquire a rather large portion of 20th Century FOX. This obviously has huge implications. Years ago, Marvel had to sell off some of its properties to stay in business. Eventually, Disney bought Marvel. Now, Disney bought the company that bought the properties that were sold. Following this, it, essentially, makes it seem like Marvel never sold any of its properties in the first place. With all that in mind, let's take a look at what the deal means. Well, some of what it means, anyways.

1. DC fans are down an argument.

Since the first movie in the DCEU came out, Man of Steel, DC fans have said something along the lines of, "At least DC has the rights to all of their characters." Guess what? Now Marvel does, too. Marvel was doing fine before. Now, it can be even better... if that's even possible.

2. X-Men join The Avengers.

The X-Men are now in the same universe as the Avengers. Why the big fuss? Because now, we can see them interact with each other. All the quips between Iron Man and any of the X-Men will be hilarious. Watching him take on Magneto would be something. I don't know how Iron Man would fight him, but you could expect a quick-witted response from Tony.

3. The Comics

Any storyline from the comics can now play out on the big screen. Literally, ANY story line. That includes the one where the Inhumans release a terrigenesis bomb on Earth to fight the X-Men, the one where Scarlet Witch says "No more mutants," and the one where the Avengers take on the X-Men. Lot of fights. It wouldn't be a comic if someone didn't fight someone... or something, in some cases.

4. Endless Possibilities

When you think about how unexpectedly some things in the movie happened, you can only imagine what will happen now that all players can be used in the movies. You never know what'll happen. Take InfinityWar for example. We're all speculating on what we think, hope, and want to have happen, but we don't know anything for certain beyond what we've seen in the trailer. Although, we do know that the Fantastic Four will be done right.

There's more behind this deal and I'm sure we'll find out the details in the upcoming months.

Some quick last minute things here:

I hope that they keep Deadpool's second movie (and probably more) R-rated. Disney doesn't exactly make R-rated movies. Maybe they could reach out to another party. Maybe.

I am interested to see exactly how they introduce the newly acquired characters into the MCU.

Will they correct themselves and say that Reed Richard, Mr. Fantastic, made the pants for the Hulk? They "explained" that Stark made them for him, but we'll see.

Will Hugh Jackman and/or Patrick Stewart come back to reprise their roles as Wolverine and Charles Xavier, respectively?

Does this mean more cameos for Stan Lee? Excelsior?

We're very excited to see what this means for Marvel. Good move, Disney. Good job.
