Ancient Place, New Struggles: Finale
"MAX!!!!" Jessie exclaimed. Jessie tried to change into their metal form but it was no good. They still fell to their knees every time. The pain from the magnetic lodestones surrounding the cave pulling them in every direction was too much. Jessie had one option: their metal armor. Used mainly for big fights or very, very dangerous situations, this was the one card they had left to play and it was worth playing.

Ancient Place, New Struggles: Part Two
"An old warehouse. Why is it always an old warehouse?" Jessie took in their surroundings. An old, dilapidated warehouse complete with the works; broken windows, falling bricks, do not enter signs blanketing parts of the wall. "I swear, cities should really start doing away with these buildings."

Ancient Place, New Struggles: Part One
"So, do you feel like you're adjusting well to our modern, new dimensional life, Camile?" Jessie asked. "Sort of." Camile answered while eating her ice cream cone. "I have been getting a handle on most things, but others still elude me. I'm learning more every day, however. I feel … like I'm making progress."

Different Circles
A guy and his psychiatrist talk about his breakup. "I don't get it, Doc. I did everything she asked me to. There wasn't a time when I stepped out on her. Not once. I understand that a relationship is more than that but I imagine like this kind of … passionate breakup is the result of someone sleeping around."

Weight Loss Blog #2
Hello. My name is Michael. Some people call me Mike, and I'd be okay with that. Since the last time I wrote on Vocal I have met my first goal of dropping below 300 pounds. I could no longer say I was over 300 pounds. The next time I get my state ID, I will confidently and proudly say what my actual weight happens to be at that time. The reason I did not say driver's license is because I do not have one. Long story and also a story for … another time.

Weight Loss "Blog"
Hello. My name is Michael. Some people call me Mike, but that's not relevant at the moment. I guess I should start with what and why I'm writing this. Towards the end of January of this year, 2020, I wanted to lose weight. That is both true and false at the same time.

Walking Down the Crossroads
I look at the sides of this path and see many sand dunes. Now I was in the desert... somehow. I keep walking down the path, and every so often I see a body or two laying there in the sand. Sometimes a scorpion crawls on them. Eventually I come to a sign and it says, "Love thy neighbor." Oddly enough, I haven't seen anyone else on the path. Okay, I should say that I haven't seen anyone alive on the path, but whatever. What are you gonna do? Sue me? Ha! Good luck with that.
