Mariah has finally been spotted.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have had one burning question during the past few weeks that may be soon answered. Everyone is wondering what happened to Mariah who has not been seen in any recent episodes. Viewers have been drawing their own conclusions as up to this point nothing has been revealed in the storyline that even offers a reliable clue. Previews for next week, however, give the first glimpse of the pregnant woman who has not been seen in a number of weeks.

Mariah is shown inside of what looks like a hotel room or a bedroom and she is beating on a door. In the following video, she can be seen saying " As much fun as this stay has been me and this baby would like to get out of here now." Theories abound because no significant clues have been revealed about the fate of Sharon's daughter. Viewers of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have become weary with this storyline and on social media groups. some have been saying they no longer care about Mariah.

Is Stitch fooling Abby and did he kidnap Mariah?

Perhaps this teaser might spark interest again in where she is, how she got there and who is responsible. The big question is what is the purpose of someone kidnapping Abby's surrogate mother? Devon. Nina, Tessa. Sharon, and Abby all seem to be living in a haze and not catching clues that something is wrong. They have been getting cryptic texts but no phone calls from Mariah's phone. Her location app is turned off which leads viewers to believe someone else is texting on her behalf. The prime suspect at this time is Ben Rayburn who just returned to Genoa City and announced on Thursday that he will be sticking around.

Now that this teaser has been released those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS can see that Mariah has not been harmed. Hopefully, this strange storyline will soon come to a close because fans are weary of it as they are with the entire surrogate story. First, both Abby and Chance find out they cannot bring a child into this world which is really out there. Next Chance goes off on a secret mission in the middle of their seeking a surrogate mother.

Next Abby moves forward without her spouse by choosing Mariah to carry a baby and Devon offers his sperm. Nina, Tessa, and Mariah all move into the Chancellor mansion and poof Ms' Copeland disappears right after talking to Stitch. Fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are curious as to why Ben Rayburn was brought back to Genoa City but there is no sign of Abby's husband. Some viewers believe that Stitch is the one who kidnapped Mariah while others think he will be a hero, bring her home and deliver her baby.

Are Devon and Abby missing signals that all is not well?

Nothing about this storyline makes sense but at least Y&R viewers now have a glimpse of Mariah. Perhaps this is a sign that more clues will come forth and that eventually definite answers will be given. In the meantime, Nina has given Tessa the green light to try to find answers because she, Nina is only the grandmother and Tessa as the significant other has the right to proceed as she chooses. Be sure to tune in next week to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS to find out whatever is revealed about Mariah's situation. Continue to watch for spoilers and updates that might offer more clues in this strange storyline.
