Kristina Wagoner: Back in action

General Hospital viewers were disappointed when Kristina Wagoner (Felicia Scorpio) returned for only one episode last May in a tribute to the late John Reilly who played Sean Donnelly. Fans of the actress have been saying for some time that she should have been in Port Charles to assist her daughter Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) through several crisis situations. The actress has now confirmed that she is on contract status and has already been on the GH set.

Wagoner came to General Hospital at the age of 22 as Kristina Malandro in September 1984. She was paired with Jack Wagoner (Frisco Jones) and they became supercouple Frisco and Felicia. Their onscreen chemistry translated into a eral tiem romance and eventually they married. The couple are now divorced but are working together on When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel. Some GH fans are saying that if Wagoner is returning they would also like to see Frisco back in Port Charles.

The timing of Wagoner's return coincides with the departures of Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jax Jacks) and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) who were on the ABC soap for 25 and 35 years respectively. Now that those two characters have been written out General Hospital has room in the budget to bring Wagoner back on contract and might be the reason Felicia is returning at this time. General Hospital: Legacy characters are beloved

The above image of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) Wagoner, Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins/Ryan Chamberlain) Genie Francis (Laura Collins), and John J York (Mac Scorpio) is exciting fans who love these actors who portray longtime Port Charles residents. Wagoner says her character will be in the midst of a current storyline and bring something exciting to it. hTere are several things taking place right now where Felicia might be involved. Fans love the legacy characters and always want to see them in front burner storylines.

Kristina Wagoner: Several storylines she could be involved with

Mac and Felicia are out of the loop right now regarding Maxie allowing Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton ) to raise her daughter. Mac recently suspended Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for punching Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart). Perhaps Maxie might tell her mother and stepfather the truth about the baby and they will help her. Once the entire tale is told perhaps Mac will see that Chase is reinstated as a detective.

Mac has taken over as police commissioner while Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) is recuperating in an out of town medical facility. Henry has left the ABC soap and there has been no mention of a recast. General Hospital viewers are saying they want to see Mac in his former position permanently and if this happens he will probably get more air time. York's character is only seen sporadically in Port Charles which implies he is on a recurring basis. Perhaps he will be placed on contract once more and both Mac and Felicia will be seen a lot more.

Felicia might assist Robert Scorpio whenever he begins searching again for Holly Sutton (Emma Sams). A few weeks back Sams said the reason her storyline was dropped for the time being is that she is dealing with long COVID and slowly recovering. Madame Mayor Laura will soon return to Port Charles to keep Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaunessy) from hurting her family. Felicia could also be involved in this storyline somehow. Fans of Wagoner will be thankful to see her back on screen full-time no matter what type of plot she is thrown into.
