General Hospital: Update on Ingo Rademacher

Soap Hub is revealing information that Ingo Rademacher posted on social media about his future. The former General Hospital cast member was recently fired because he would not get the COVID -19 vaccine. The popular actor thanked his fans on Instagram for their loyalty to him and his character and said they had not seen the last of him. There are probably more fans as of this writing who are not in his corner than those who stand with the actor.

General Hospital: Viewers outraged at Rademacher's perceived opinion.

Rademacher has a number of loyal fans who love him but many of those who watch General Hospital have been calling for his firing since the summer. This was due to a post he reshared on Instagram that was considered to be transphobic. Cassandra James a transgender actress who portrays Dr. Terry Randolph on the ABC soap blasted her castmate without calling him by name and Rademacher later apologized to her. He added that he allowed his son to wear a Disney princess dress and said several times that James is beautiful.

Cassandra James does not accept Rademacher's apology

In an interview, Cassandra James did not say that she accepted her former co-worker's attempt to explain himself. You can watch the interview by clicking on the following link.

This is a sensitive subject and as the interviewer points out there are some who are simply misinformed and not being transphobic but truly do not know what to say. The apology and saying he allows his son to wear a dress has been considered by some as making Rademacher come across awkward James not accepting her former castmate's olive branch and exhibiting hostility could be interpreted by some that she and others in the transworld are looking for a fight more than acceptance. There clearly needs to be rational talk regarding the matter.

Be that as it may, Rademacher is out as Jasper Jacks. The good news is that the character exited Port Charles for Australia which leaves the door open for a future possible return if some things change regarding COVID. Steve Burton who was fired from his role as Jason Morgan has said he wants to return to General Hospital but his character was allegedly killed. Anything is possible in the future but Rademacher did say that he would have liked to continue portraying Jax which sounds like his exit is final.

Some fans of the actor wonder if he will reprise his role on The Bold and the Beautiful as Thorne Forrester. This would be a good time for Thorne to return to LA because his family is in turmoil. His bother Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and his father Eric Forrester (John McCook) are both having marital problems and the extended family members are all dealing with issues.

Nothing has been said regarding CBS soap and whether or not a COVID policy similar to ABCs is in place. This would make all the difference would Rademacher desire to return to B&B, Fans don't know if the actor already has a new role lined up or if he is just projecting.

General Hospital fans will miss the dynamic between Jax and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Some viewers have said they would have liked to see Josslyn Jacks (Eden Mccoy) have a final scene with her father but that did not happen. Jax left town keeping the secret that Mike and Nina fell in love in Nixon Falls and if Carly knew she would have his head on a platter.

Be sure to stay tuned to both The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital to find out what happens next, Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates as they become available.
