On General Hospital, Laura Collins is living a nightmare. Her daughter Lulu is unconscious in a long term care facility and the mayor finds out that the man who put her there, is her own half brother. Laura listened as Martin Gray told her that he and Renault were siblings and she was their half sister. Madame Mayor also had a long conversation .with her new half-brother after they had been in his mother's nursing home, room. Cyrus has been paying for his mom to have to notch care but she is not impressed as she blames him for her husband's death.

Cyrus says he accidentally ran over his father with his vehicle but Martin and his mom believe it was intentional. Laura and Cyrus bonded for just a moment because each of them caused the death of someone when they were young. Renault is rattled by his mother ignoring him and threw all of his credentials on her bed. He swore she would one day respect him but the look on her face said she would not, Back in Port Charles there is a lot of damage that has taken place since Cyrus came to town. The latest is the death of Julian Jerome and Sonny Corinthos declared missing.

Renault's hitman shot Julian when he was leaving Kim Nero's apartment. Another shooter aimed at him but missed, when he was at the bus station. Jason killed that man as Sonny chased Julian toa nearby bridge. During a scuffle, Sonny's gun went off and this time Julian died. The bridge collapsed and both men went into the water. On Monday, Julian was fished out of the water and ID'd then zipped up in a body bag. Sonny however did not surface. Spoilers say Jason and Carly will have a difficult time dealing with this.

The good news is that Sonny will turn up later and will have amnesia. Until then his family will surely be thinking the worst. Spoilers also say that he will see a vision of his deceased dad Mike. Meanwhile, his oldest son Dante is going through a lot of anguish. Lulu is going to be away for a while and he has not been able to complete his assignment where Peter August is concerned. Both Anna and Valentin are concerned about his mental status and suspect the WSB is up to something. Sonny missing will only add to Dante's problems. Doctor Kirk who was helping him is dead and it looks like Obrecht might now be pulling the strings.

Marcus Taggert has pissed off everyone who cares about him now that it has been revealed that he faked his own death. Trina wants nothing to do with him, Curtis is angry Jordan kept him out of the loop, and Portia is simply shocked. Mac Scorpio placed Cyrus in jail to keep him safe from Renault who sent a hitman after him who was killed by Jordan. Cyrus Renault is the common denominator for the pain of everyone involved and his own issues might cause him to lash out even more. Will Renault get to Taggert inside the jail and will he take advantage of Sonny missing to sell more drugs? Laura, Jordan, and Curtis have all been determined to get this man behind bars and while he is vulnerable Cyrus might make a mistake.

Stay tuned to General Hospital to find out how all of these loose ends are wrapped up. Who will find Sonny and bring him home and how long before he regains his memory? What words of advice will he glean from Mike and will he be charged with Julian's death? Will Dante find evidence against Peter or be taken off the case by Obrecht. Will Anna and Valentin try to derail his investigation should they find out what he is up to? Will Taggert remain behind bars, or even be killed for real? How long will it take for his family to come around and forgive him?

More importantly, when will Cyrus be held accountable for all the carnage he has brought upon Port Charles? Is it even possible for Martin and Laura to come to terms with their wayward silbing? It's not looking like the holidays will be kind to most Port Charles residents but who knows, a Christmas miracle or two might happen. Remember that on Thursday General Hospital will air the episode where Mike Corbin's family say goodbye to him and the show will not be shown on Friday.
