General Hospital fans express concern for actress Haley Pullos

New details emerge about Haley Poluus's accident

Soaps in Depth is reporting that TMZ is reporting additional details regarding the car accident involving Haley Pullos who portrays Molly Lancing Davis on General Hospital. Fans were troubled to hear that the soap actress had sustained injuries and would temporarily be replaced by Holliday Kriegel. At the time of the initial announcement, Pullos gave the following statement.

"Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I'm doing okay, but I am going to need a little time to recover. I will be back as soon as possible!"

Fans are expressing concern because based on documents that were obtained TMZ is reporting that Pullos was arrested for driving under the influence. A police report states that on April 29, the actress was driving on a freeway in Pasadena when she swerved, went over the dividing barrier, into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with another car going about 60 mph.

Is the General Hospital curse real?

SID says TMZ posted "horrific images" from the crash site and that it's a miracle Pullos came out of it alive. The other driver was also injured and both were taken to the hospital where police arrested Haley for felony DUI. Fans of the ABC soap were hoping that what they dubbed the General Hospital curse would not carry over into 2023 but it looks like it has.

Accidents happen, surgery is often necessary and people die but it seems the GH cast has had more incidents since the beginning of 2022 than the other 3 remaining soaps. More than a dozen cast members tested positive for COVID and some of them more than once. Several of the cast were out without an explanation and the roles were recast. Emma Samms (Holly Sutton) announced she was dealing with side effects from long covid that affect her ability to act and Josh Benard (Adam) broke his back when he fell from a rock climbing wall.

Are all of these incidents merely coincidental?

Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) had back surgery, Charles Shaughnessy (Victor Cassadine) had hip replacement and Robin Mattson (Heather Webber) had one knee replaced and was waiting to have surgery on the other. Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer), Sonya Eddie (Epiphany Johnson), and Harrison Wagner son of Jack and Kristina Wagoner (Frisco Jones and Felicia Scorpio) all passed away in less than a year. Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine) has not been seen on General Hospital since last March and no explanation has been given and Pollus was in a serious accident.

Some General Hospital viewers have said that things began happening shortly after Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks), Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), and father and son crew members Jim and Timothy Wahl were fired for not complying with the Covid vaccination mandate. All 4 had cited religious reasons but lost their jobs anyway. Neither Days of Our Lives on Peacock, nor The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful on CBS have reported situations during the past year and a half like GH has.

GH has been giving fans must-see TV

In the midst of all the misfortunes, General Hospital has been giving viewers must-see TV episodes that leave fans on the edge of their seats. The 60th anniversary has been phenomenal and hopefully, the show will continue to thrive in the midst of life happening. GH fans are hoping that Haley Pullos will come through her current situation and return to Port Charles action. Her character Molly is about t embark on a front-burner storyline about infertility that should be quite interesting. Holiday Kriegal is supposed to show up the week of May 23 so be watching for her debut and be on the lookout for updates regarding Pullos.
