Michael Blake Kruse is a hit with GH fans

Michael Blake Kruse made his debut Wednesday on General Hospital as rookie cop Rory Cabrera and he is trending on GH social media groups and forums. The law enforxement official was standing guard in the interrogation room as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was talking to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves).

Officer Cabrera made sure Spencer left the room when Trina told him to go. He also gave Trina a soft drink and had a warm moment where he exchanged a smile with her. This could have simply been the officer expressing empathy after listening to the exchange between the two. General Hospital fans, however, are projecting a romance that will take Trina's mind off of Spencer.

The Cassadine heir is up to his eyeballs in family drama and Esme is going to make things more difficult. On social media, fans are sharing their excitement over this new man in Port Charles and a few have even asked playfully if he would arrest them.

Officer Rory is an instant hit with GH fans

Some General Hospital fans are already looking forward to seeing Cabrera perform in the next Nurses Ball and several of his castmates have welcomed him to the ABC soap via social media. Fans are already saying "Rina" and "Trory" in regard to the police officer and Trina.

Fans are excited about this possible pairing and eager to find out where it leads. Soaps in Depth is reporting that Rory Cabrera is a contract role to which Kruse responded "We shall see." GH fans are saying they cannot recall when a new character, as well as the actor in the role, has created such a buzz. Spoilers are not giving any hint of what comesnext for the rookie.

Michael graduated from Central College of Pella, Iowa, in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.

Kruse has done a number of commercial and print campaigns for clients such as Nike, Google, Amazon, Apple, and Coca-Cola. He portrayed Billy Hanes in the 15th and final season of the CBS series Criminal Minds snd was John in the Lifetime feature film Dead In The Water. The actor was a Guest Star on Grey’s Anatomy as Felix in season 17 snd in the films Christmas Harmony, Double Play, and That One Smile.

Soaps in Depth is reporting that Rory Cabrera is on contract but the actor responded by saying time will tell and General Hospital viewers will be watching and waiting.

General Hospital drama will engulf Rory

Officer Rory will soon find that Port Charles is an interesting place that is full of drama. He will naturally at some point be working with Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), as well as Dante Falconeri, (Dominuic Zampragna) and Harrison Chase Josh Swickard). On Thursday when Trina needed a moment to herself officer Cabrera offered to escort her to the courthouse hallway where she ran into Jslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has bewitched Victor Cassadine ( Charles Shaughnessy) and Nikolas Cassadine ( Marcus Columba) who are defending her now that they believe she is carrying an heir to their dysfunctional clan. Trina needs to be far away from the demon seed of Ryan Chamberlain ( Jon Lindstrom) and the fallout that will soon occur. Be on the lookout for General Hospital spoilers as they bbecome available.
