The Young and the Restless has hired veteran actor Richard Burgi to portray Ashton Locke, the husband of Tara whose son Harrison belongs to Kyle Abbott. Recently Kyle spoke to his sister Traci about the circumstances surrounding Jack finding out that Kyle was his son. This lets viewers know that Kyle is probably thinking about wanting to have a part in his own child's life. For weeks everyone has painted Ashton Locke as a villain and a man who no one should ever cross. He has even been dubbed the Locke Ness Monster.

Viewers have been wondering when this character would show up in Genoa City and now they know it will be soon. Ashton has no idea that the little boy he has been raising as his own, is the product of an affair that his wife had with Kyle Abbott 3 years ago. There are no details on how long this character will remain in Genoa City but on Wednesday, Tara warned Kyle that she and her husband would soon arrive and she wanted him to act as if they did not know each other.

It's not clear what type of business this ruthless man is involved in or what he will be doing once he arrives in Genoa City. He will be no match for Jack Abbott or Victor Newman if he tries to hurt Kyle or Summer and perhaps he already is acquainted with one or both of the GC moguls. Kyle is going to desire access to his son, just as his father wanted him the moment he found out about him. Sally and Tara make Ashton look like a shark who is not to be trifled with but Kyle will not stop trying to have a role in his child's life.

Once the truth comes out things will probably become tense and there could be court battles and scandal. Summer is going to be broken hearted and this could end her relationship with her fiance. The Young and the Restless cast the perfect actor to portray this larger than life bad guy. General Hospital fans will recall that Richard Burgi did an excellent job as the evil Paul Hornsby who turned out to be the Port Charles serial He had just the right combination of charm and evil and will probably do the same in the role of Ashton Locke.

Ashton will more than likely be ruthless and also controlling where his family is concerned. He will make life miserable for all concerned and perhaps his presence can shed light on a few things for Y&R viewers. If this man is all that he is being promoted to be then how is it that he has no idea that Harrison is not his son. A man like Locke probably has eyes and ears everywhere, so how did his wife get away with an affair with Kyle Abbott? Even if it is proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that Kyle is the boy's father, Locke will most likely do all he can to keep the boy within his own grasp.

Something else that Y&R fans are pondering is how Theo dug up this information after 3 years when Locke seems clueless about it all. Perhaps he does know and is simply trying to save face by pretending that the child is his. Stay tuned to find out what the Lockeness Monster will do once he arrives in Genoa City. One thing is certain and that is that Kyle and Summer's lives will be torn apart. Jack should be made aware of what Theo and Sally did to his son so he can cut his losses before it's too late. Skyle fans hang in there and find out if your favorite couple can weather the coming storms.
