Days Of Our Lives: Marlena tells Chanel that Lani is Paulina's daughter

Spoilers for Days of Our Lives indicate that Salemites will continue their wild ride thanks to a possessed Marlena Evans. The manner in which Marlena will reveal that Abe is not Lani's biological father has now been made public. The Devil Doc could eventually lose her medical license over this breach of patient confidentiality because the medical board might not believe the devil made her do it. In the meantime here is what is supposed to happen during November sweeps.

Days viewers know that Chanel is jealous of her "cousin" Lani and believes her mother would prefer that her niece was her daughter. During a private moment with Marlena, Chanel will be told that Paulina is Lani's birth mother but Abe is not her biological dad. This is a huge secret that will destroy many lives. Abe and Lani will be crushed to find out that they are not father and daughter and Paulina will be horrified that her secret is out. She will also be shocked that Chanel is the one who is revealing the truth and their relationship will never be the same.

It's not clear what Marlnea's purpose is outside of enjoying the fallout. If her medical lisence is suspended she will no longer be able to keep Doug Williams locked away from his family. Doug knows that the demon is in control so the Devil Doc obviously did not think this through carefully. It's not clear if this news comes to light before or after the wedding but whenever it does lives will be destroyed.

Abe begged Paulina not to keep any more secrets from him and this one is the biggest of all. Abe and Lani have bonded and come to love one another and now all of this has been one big lie. Chanel might feel a mixture of satisfaction along with her pain because she has now found a way to get back at her mom for seemingly preferring Lani over her.

Spoilers say that Marlena will pretend that she does not want Chanel to say anything but this will be too big of a revelation to keep to herself. The Devil Doc will be filled with glee when Chanel breaks the hearts of Abe and Lani and destroys her mother. The bigger issue here is the fact that Paulina kept this information hidden for all of these years. Lani will be crushed to find out that her bio dad is not the upstanding citizen that Abe Carver is but a low-life who abused her mom.

Channel may eventually come to regret her decision to be the bearer of bad news but in the moment she will be glad that she exposed Paulina's lies. There is no telling how this will affect Ms. Dupree as time goes on but Johnny and Alli will be there to help her through it. DOOL viewers will be eager to find out which of Sammy Brady's children Chanel will lean on the most. Once the truth is revealed it will be the end of Abe and Paulina because there is no coming back from this type of disappointment. Ms. Price might find that she is also alienated from both of her daughters so her life will be one big mess.

This situation will only add to the chaos that is taking place in Salem and things will be getting worse as the end of the year draws nigh, There are rumors that Marlena might get help around Christmas but even if she does it will not reverse all the damage she has caused.
