Monday on General Hospital there was a new face in the role of Jordan Ashford. Brianna Nicole Henry is recovering from COVID and Tiffany Daniels was cast in the role. The announcer said "Today" so this may be a one-time change. Henry announced to her fans in early December that she and her husband had been recovering from the Coronavirus since after Thanksgiving and admitted that some symptoms were lingering. The actress could be all better now, and back on the set taping. There is a time-lapse between when episodes are filmed and when they appear on the screen.

Vinessa Antoine originated the character of Jordan in 2014 but left General Hospital four years later in 2018. This is when Briana Nicole Henry was cast as the police commissioner. There has also been a change in the actor who portrays Jordan's son TJ. He was first played by Tequan Richmond and now Tajh Bellows is in the role. It has been an adjustment for viewers because these characters are relatively new.

On Monday, Jordan shared her problems with Anna and admitted that she has lied over and over again to her husband. She is feeling bad that Curtis was guilty because he thought he was responsible for Trina not being with her dad. Meanwhile, Portia was encouraging Curtis not to give up on his marriage. Earlier spoilers have indicated that Curtis and Portia might turn to each other while Real Andrews asked social media followers if they might want to see his character have a romantic relationship with Jordan and many said yes.

Speaking of Andrews, he was temporarily replaced by Asante Jones in the role of Marcus Taggert and viewers were concerned. The actor had been battling cancer and fans thought it may have come back. The actor assured fans that at his last check-up he was declared cancer-free but he never said why he was replaced on the ABC daytime drama. Taggert is in jail because everyone believes this is a safe haven from Cyrus Renault. Portia visited him and told him to fight for his relationship with their daughter.

As Jordan and Anna were planning a SPA day, they spotted Curtis and Ms. Devane told the police commissioner to work things out with her spouse. Unfortunately, the PI said he could not move back home because he could not trust his wife. This looks like things are going to go in the direction of Curtis getting together with Portia who keeps hovering around him. This is what also might bring Jordan and Taggert closer together. The Ashfords have been happy for quite some time so it's inevitable that they would have issues at some point.

General Hospital viewers are wondering if it will come out that Curtis is really Trina's father? This is what was being considered early on but Portia assured Jordan's husband that Taggert is her daughter's biological dad. This issue has not been revisited and in addition, there is a similar storyline right now with two other characters. Hamilton Finn is trying to find out if his younger brother Detective Chase is really his son. Finn had sex with his stepmom Jackie the night before she married his dad.

Chase was born a little over 9 months later and Jackie never got a DNA test. She does not want one now but Finn has now asked Anna to help him.Just because Jackie and Finn are dealing with this issue does not indicate that General Hospital will not revisit it in the future with Curtis and Trina. Be sure to stay tuned to the Port Charles action each weekday afternoon to find out how all of this turns out.
