What was Sasha thinking?

Monday on General Hospital some viewers were frustrated when it was revealed that Sash Gilmore (Sophia Mattsson) tampered with Cody Bell's (Josh Kelly) hair brush. Fans are troubled that Sasha would go to such lengths to help Cody perpetuate a lie. This only delays the truth being revealed and makes Cody look like a criminal.

Those who watch GH realized last week that Ms. Gilmore was suspicious so she switched the hair samples on the brush Felecia Scorpio (Kristina Wagoner) used for to get another DNA test. What on earth was she thinking because this will come back to haunt her in the future as well as Cody.

Felica was deceived

The results of Felica's test indicated that Cody is not the biological son of Mac Scorpio (John J York) but those who watch the ABC soap know that he is. Felicia appologized because she wanted to be honest yet Sasha and Cody have both deceived her and don't seem to feel any remorse. Some General Hospital fans say the two liars deserve each other because they aer both snakes. There may, howeever, be a method to the madness.

Fans are aware that York is recovering from cancer treatment and has lost all of his hair. He put out an Instagram video letting his fans know how his journey has been going so far and he is half way through the process. General Hospital has not replaced the actor with a temporary stand-in as they have done for other members of the cast. If they had done so perhaps Mac would know by now that Cody is his son,

John J York's GH return may change everything

In a recent update, People revealed the soap vet said he might be back on by spring or summer if all goes well. The delay in the truth that Mac is Cody's biological father is probably being delayed until York returns.

Cody lied about the first DNA results and now Sasha has altered the second test. The truth eventually must come to light but how will that happen. Cody could always come clean about the first test but then he would implicate himself and Sasha. Something extreme would have to take place where Mr. Bell's back is against the wall. General Hospital might decide to turn to a typical soap plot that has been used over and over for decades.

When John J York returns to General Hospital as Mac the storyline will hopefully get a boost. There will have to be something to take place that leaves Cody no choice but to come clean. He might get shot in the line of duty or have a medical crisis similar to what is taking place in real time. Doctors may indicate that the former and current acting police commissioner needs a blood transfusion in order to survive which shifts the narrative.

Cody and Sasha's deception will be revealed

If his father's life is on the line Cody will have to come forth to save him. He will be put on the spot in a life and death situation because otherwise he will continue lying. Sasha is now his partner in crime as this plot thickens and he wants to protect her. This entire situation is getting out of hand and fans want all the deception to stop. Cody is proving to be as devious as Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Borrows).

General Hospital could have used a recast to keep the storyline moving along but they seem to be waiting on York to recover and return. In the meantime Felica admitted to Cody she should not have gotten a DNA test behind his back. When the truth comes out Felicia and Mac will feel betrayed but if Cody saves Mac's like they will have mixed emotions so stay tuned.
