Carly's past could reveal Nelle is Nina's daughter

General Hospital viewers may be just a little bit closer to seeing one of the more irritating storylines come to a close. Spoiler alerts are teasing that the identity of Nina's daughter may be close at hand. When it was first revealed that Ms. Reeves had a daughter, Nelle Benson was suspected of being that child. When, however, Chloe Lanier left the ABC daytime drama, Michael's baby mama went to jail and opinions changed. There were also viewers who pointed out that Nelle would not be the right age, but Willow could be. The hatred Nina had for the school teacher seemed to fuel the flames for those who believed Ms. Tate is the missing daughter. Viewers waited for the big reveal, but it never came. Now, however, it seems that the ABC daytime drama is revisiting all things Nelle.

It's possible that after Lanier exited her role, the powers that be shifted gears. This may be why Willow was considered as Nina's child. Ms. Tate looks just like Harmony and is involved in so many other aspects of Port Charles, it looks like she may not be the one. Willow, along with Chase, Michael, and Sasha are desperately trying to keep Nelle from gaining custody of Wiley. There is even a offer of a fake marriage to Michael on the table. Willow is also concerned for her mother who is in bed with mob kingpin Cyrus Renaul Now that Lanier is back, it seems everything is shifting in her direction once again. On Tuesday April 7th, according to Soaps She Knows, Carly is going to take a trip down memory lane, which will shed some light on her past and also bring forth some historical surprises.

Celeb Dirty Laundry often reports spoilers that do not come to pass, but on occasion their information is accurate. They suggested last week that when Carly looks into her past, it might reveal who Nelle's mother was. This seems to corroborate what is coming from Soaps She Knows, which gets their information directly from the ABC General Hospital studio. Let's examine what we know thus far about the situation. When Nina was in a coma, her mother Madeline had labor induced and gave her child up for adoption, and allowed her to believe the baby died. While incarcerated, Madeline told Valentin that her daughter's child had lived and was adopted. She gave him a necklace with one half of a locket and said that her grandchild would own the other half. CDL suggests that Carly may even find out the truth and hide it from Nelle and Nina, which would drag things on longer.

General Hospital viewers know that Carly was adopted and that the mother who raised her passed away. After she left home, Nelle was raised by Carly's adoptive father. Ms. Benson came to Port Charles with an agenda to cause problems for her "sister" because she was angry that Carly got away and she did not. The only hint that Harmony may possibly not be Willow's birth mom, was last week when she made the comment that her daughter was given to her. This could have been metaphorically but nothing is by accident on General Hospital. We have verification that Ms. Benson was adopted but only have speculation about Willow. Add to this the fact that Nina just hired Nelle to work for her at Crimson and the two had a talk about their both having babies taken away from them.

Certainly all of this cannot be mere coincidence, so General Hospital viewers need to make sure they tune in on April 7. There are sure to be revelations that come forth in that episode which will steer everyone in the right direction. This particular program is supposed to be a tribute to Carly, but there is obviously so much more behind it. This would be a surprising turn of events to find out that Nelle has the locket half, and that Nina now has a daughter and a grandson. GH fans have been desperate for this storyline to be over and done, and perhaps May sweeps will be the time. Lucy Coe has been planning the annual Nurses Ball, but due to the coronavirus, ABC has shut down production of it's one remaining soap opera for four weeks, which would end around the middle of April.

Each year during the Nurses Ball there is always some type of danger and or a big reveal. Whether or not the gala is held this year, viewers want to know the identity of Nina's daughter. Nelle is a spitfire and no one likes her. Perhaps should she find out that her grandmother ripped her from her mother's womb and gave her away, she will exhibit a somewhat kinder and gentler side of her personality.
