If you love a good show that keeps you on the edge of your seat, and has a few seasons keep reading!

It all starts in Birmingham, Loudon. In 1919, Thomas Shelby returns home to Small Heath, Birmingham from serving in The British Army during World War I. Tommy is the leader of the notorious gang, Peaky Blinders. Small Heath is ruled by the Blinders, with Arthur the oldest Shelby brother to Tommy's left, and the third born Shelby brother, John to his right. However, nothing would rule, without the brothers Aunt Polly. I personally think Polly keeps the gang within reality, especially as the seasons progress. The Shelby's are Romanian Gypsy's. Their gang was first known for sewing razor blades in their caps, within easy reach to slice a cheek or two, may the occasion arise. Tommy, had bigger things in sight for the Blinders. Racing Horses, and of course guns was only the start. Tommy, Arthur, and John intended to clear anything that stand in their path. They did that and more. He had his uncle Charlie, in the yard. Never failed him, you'll see how it all comes together through the seasons. Then you have Johnny Dogs. Well, I wont ruin that once for you. He never disappoints when carrying out an order.

Inspector Campbell

There isn't anyone more determined to take the Peaky Blinders out of Small Heath, than Inspector Campbell. One ruthless man. Luckily the Shelby's hold, and continue to gain inside intel one way or another. Despite the Blinders appearing to have an upper hand in the streets, it was never to come without bloodshed.

British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill had nothing for Tommy. However, that didn't stand, as you'll see time will tell. Inspector Campbells first run in with the gang was to recover stolen machine guns. Keep in mind, as the plot thickens, Churchill hand picked Campbell to "handle" the Blinders.

Now, with the Inspector, comes a very very complicated and unintended situation. It is shared between Campbell and Tommy. However, where each man will stand, there will be no common ground. "May the best man win with Grace."

Ada Thorne. Formerly, Ada Shelby.

There are a total of five Shelby children. Three of which, the family's "business" with pride. Ada, the only girl in the mix had no tolerance of the organized crime, violence, or morals. She went down her own path, in comparison to the brothers, and Aunt Polly. She leaves the family, marries Freddie Thorne, despite the disapproving of Thorne from the brothers. The reasoning why? Only one way to find out.

By around 1941-1942, Mrs. Ada Thorne will come to hold a high position at the United States branch of Shelby Company Limited. Ada's coming into the business will not be an easy convincing. Tommy eventually finds that his sister having a different thinking of how things should be, could be just what Shelby Company needs to secure more than one deal.

Aunt Polly faces her own inner troubles during the building of Tommy's empire. Two children, unfairly separated from their mother at an early age leaves a burden. A little girl and a little boy. Polly ends up reaching terms that the daughter ripped from her, passed away in Australia before she could locate her. However, Polly's son was still alive, and Tommy intended to find him for Polly. He delivered. Michael Gray, Polly's only child inevitably became a Blinder despite his mother being against it. Michael was a very strong asset to family. Michael comes to gain a crucial position in Shelby Limited, in the United States branch as well. He however, began to over step his authority with Tommy. Leader is not a negotiable position with Mr. Shelby.

The family will attempt to out smart the IRA, make a monopoly of Horse racetracks. The Blinders favorited their liquor, so why not make their own? Americans wanted Opium, and Tommy Shelby had a plan to deliver the people what they asked for. Politics always come with business. Things, will become more than Tommy thinks, the gang can handle. He has a few people he will call upon. Tommy has his fair share of personal troubles on his way to the top.

The Peaky Blinders, don't back down. They will pull in as many men as they need to achieve their goal, and put any man out that should stand in the way.

Even though Peaky Blinders is not based on a true story. Its also not 100% a fiction story line. There are a few characters that based off of actual people from 1900's. The Prime Minister being one. Peaky Blinders delivers the fiction in the story line to keep you on the edge of your seat, but still provides you with a little bit of insight on the history. A new face to organized crime shows. It's not your "American Mafia" show.

This was just a small dip into Peaky Blinders! There is more than enough to keep you guessing, from episode to episode. I don't doubt Season 6 will deliver everything we have been wait so long for!

“When you plan something well there’s no need to rush." - Tommy Shelby.
