Bionic Netflix Review: Great Concept, Weak Writing

No doubt the concept of the movie is good, but due to weak writing, the execution was quite dull, or the fun factor was missing.

Bionic Netflix Review

Guys, yesterday a Brazilian sports science fiction drama film was released on Netflix called Bionic, which I have just finished watching. The creators have captured a very good concept. In the film, they attempt to combine elements of family drama, sport drama, and crime drama to present a unique science fiction angle. Now, how successful have the creators been in achieving this and will this film actually entertain you? Without taking up more of your time, I will explain this for you.

Talking about the movie, you have to give about two hours to watch it. It will be available on Netflix in Hindi dubbed language, and the Hindi dubbing, no doubt, has been done well. But keep in mind that do not watch the picture with family because it depicts some adult scenes. The overall thing is that this film is not family-friendly.

So, see, the setting of the story of the picture has been kept in 2035 where you have to follow up a family in which there are two sisters who are athletes. According to this picture, sports, i.e., athletics, running, etc., have completely changed after the advent of Biosynthetic technology.

Now something happens with those two sisters in the picture that traps them in a crime angle. Now you will have to watch this picture to know what will happen with them in the future.

Bionic Netflix Cast

Bionic Movie Review

To be honest, I really liked the idea of the story in this picture, and there are some moments where the actors offer outstanding performances. The idea and story of this picture shine very well, especially in a moment where both sisters race against each other.

There are some moments in this picture where the work of the actors, the director, and the cameraman all seem quite tremendous.

No doubt the concept of the movie is good, but due to weak writing, the execution was quite dull, or the fun factor was missing.

The biggest problem with this picture is its flow, which will feel quite uneven to you. This means the picture suddenly starts focusing on family drama, sometimes on crime drama, and sometimes on sports drama. Whenever this movie focuses on a particular point, it forgets the remaining points for 10-15 minutes.

So the proper flow that should be there in the narration of the story or in the screenplay is unfortunately missing in this picture.

By the way, I don't feel like talking about character development, but let me explain a little. Except for the family to whom this picture refers, all the other cast members—such as the police investigation team and the villains—have not been developed at all.

Conclusion

So overall, I only want to tell you that if you are crazy about science fiction and also want the concept of Biosynthetic, then not with much expectation, but yes, you can give this picture a try.

I felt like closing this picture in the middle portion, but for review purposes, I watched it completely; otherwise, I would have closed the picture in the middle.

So if you have seen this movie, what was your experience? You can tell me in the comments.

This was my review of the science fiction drama film "Bionic" that was released on Netflix. I hope you enjoyed this review.
