Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Review

Well, "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" is a spin-off kind of movie focusing entirely on the character Furiosa. But who is Furiosa? Where does she come from? This movie shows her entire life span.

The movie runs for 2 hours and 28 minutes, and yes, it is available in its original language as well as in Hindi.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024 Review

Now, friends, if I want to review "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" in one line for you all, I would just say, "This is crazy!" I mean, the world-building, all the stuff, got to see, fun to watch, and memories...somewhere completely refreshed.

If you are a fan of Mad Max, then I am damn sure that this movie is going to attract you completely. Most importantly, before watching this movie, you will have to be aware of the world of Mad Max and who Furiosa is, otherwise, there will be only action left for you in the film.

This movie is divided into five chapters and shows the entire journey of the character Furiosa. The way Furiosa's 15-year journey is shown in this movie is going to provide a different thrill.

Like other Mad Max movies, there is action here too, but as soon as the movie starts, the action is not visible; somewhere the world-building has been done quite well. The more we praise character writing, the less it is.

The action scenes, once again, are wonderful and very exciting, which makes the adrenaline rush extremely high. This means that a lot of hard work has been done in the action sequences, and you get to see many innovative scenes.

Thanks to the choreographer who has designed such amazing action scenes and has left no stone unturned in giving fun to the audience. On top of that, I have fewer words to praise its extraordinary background music (BGM), which means the task of filling every scene with thrill is done very well here.

Apart from this, the art design and set design, of course, are quite good. The way the world of Mad Max has been recreated here is fun to watch. It has to be said that the cinematographer did a wonderful job. You will get to see many jaw-dropping scenes and also framings. After seeing these, you will say only one thing: "What a worthwhile experience I had."

The director of this film is George Miller, whose age is around 79 and he is about to turn 80. What a vision he has! I mean, amazing, bro. Nowadays, directors can hardly do such a crazy kind of thing.

Apart from this, the person who played the character of Furiosa has done very good acting, and the person who played her mother has also done a good job.

Chris Hemsworth steps into the shoes of a negative character in this movie. No doubt, his work is good. But there is a flaw in his character; I did not find that character as strong or as brutal as it should be. I mean, it would have been better if we could have seen more dynamics in this character.

The climax of the movie felt very weak. For Furiosa, everything seemed to be a walk in the park. The ease with which she handled the final challenges made the climax lack excitement and tension. It would have been better if the climax had presented more difficulty and obstacles.

Conclusion

In short, "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" is an enjoyable movie. Action lovers should definitely go watch it because the action in the movie is quite amazing and it will prove to be an enjoyable ride even for those who are not action lovers. Yes, it may not capture as much as the earlier movies, but it will not disappoint you.

In terms of parental guidance, there is a lot of brutality in the violence, so if possible, keep small children away from this film.

So, friends, this was my review of "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga." Hope you like it. Have you also seen this movie? If yes, then how did you like it, please share in the comments below.
