Are the Lavender Ladies the New JEK?

MTV's 'The Challenge' has had their share of alliances, but it seems like the Lavender Ladies are trying to dominate the game like JEK once did.

People can say what they will about Johnny Bananas, Evan and Kenny (From The Challenge on MTV) but the fact remains that people will always love them, hate them, hate to love them or love to hate them.

These three men dominated their time on The Challenge due to having a good political game, a solid alliance and by being strong competitors. The three of them we're sharing their spot at the top as the faces of The Challenge. That is until events unfolded that pushed Kenny and Evan out of the game, leaving Bananas as the face of The Challenge.

These days, there's some new "Mean Girls" in the game who refer to themselves as the Lavender Ladies. The Lavender Ladies consist of Amanda, Ashley, Shane and Sylvia. Just like JEK they have a solid alliance. While many could argue if all of them are good competitors, they're all at least pretty decent competitors. Their political game could also be a topic easily up for debate especially after the latest episode of The Challenge: Vendettas after Amanda and Zach put themselves into eliminations.

Another way the Lavender Ladies and JEK compare is both groups tended to be bullies. We saw JEK treat their teammates unfair and used vulgar language especially towards females. This attitude is seen in many instances, one that comes to mind is in The Challenge: The Island when both Johnny and Kenny mock Tonya.

The Lavender Ladies also enjoy mocking and bullying others, which was easy to see when Ashley and Amanda both repeatedly shouted at Cara Maria that no one likes her. Something that if I remember right most of the JEK alliances has told Cara before.

While I understand the benefits of having a strong alliance, and controlling the game. Along with there being no doubt that JEK was one of the strongest alliances to ever be featured in The Challenge. There's some aspects of the alliance that would be nice if the Lavender Ladies did not copy specifically the bullying and drama. Maybe then we would get a challenge and elimination in each episode again like the good old days before the majority of the episodes were taken up by drama.

Only time will tell though if the Lavender Ladies can graduate from Middle School, and move into High School where a good portion of the rest of the house resides as MTV wants it. While I personally don't see Lavender Ladies dominating the game like JEK did, I do think if they were able to mature and focus on the game they would get a lot farther. Do you agree that the Lavender Ladies are trying to become the new JEK?
