A Killer Paradox Review

Recently, a Kdrama by the name of A Killer Paradox was released on Netflix a few days ago. A total of 8 episodes are included in it; the length of each one is around 50 to 52 minutes.

I have enjoyed this Kdrama in its Hindi version. The Hindi-dubbed version is very good, but if you like to watch Kdramas with family, then let me tell you: do not watch it with your family because it contains a lot of nudity, vulgarity, and brutal killing scenes.

This K-drama will not fit everyone's taste, especially for those fans who like to watch thriller shows or things like crime investigations.

So if you like watching crime dramas, then you should watch this series, but actually, before commenting on the overall content of this Kdrama, let me give you a little idea of the story.

A Killer Paradox Story

Meet Lee Tang, just a regular student with big dreams of adventure. One day, though, life takes a dark turn when he unexpectedly commits a crime. But here's where things get really strange—instead of moving on, Lee Tang further commits more crimes as well. He has been treated as a superhero type in this show because he detects that the people he kills are bad people, meaning he has some detection-type psychological power. Now do not consider it magic.

On the other side of the plot, the story follows a detective who is investigating the murders committed by Lee Tang. So, to know whether the detective will be able to catch the killer at the end, you will have to watch this drama.

A Killer Paradox Review

Now if I have to define this Kdrama for you all, then I would just say that it's a very good time to pass.

This is neither a very great Kdrama nor a very bad one. If you go to watch it as a time-pass, then yes, this series can give you fun, and there are two or three simple reasons for this. Firstly, this show is presented in a very stylish way. The makers already knew that they had a normal story, so to remove the simplicity of that story, they have executed this story in a very stylish way, which somehow keeps you hooked on it.

Secondly, there are very interesting characters to watch in this series, such as a fatty boy named Obin. The way this character was written for this series is amazing.

The third thing that makes this Kdrama even more fascinating is the actors' performances. All the actors have crossed their own boundaries.

This drama sells its goods in the name of mystery, and somewhere or another, its mystery will keep you confused, and the director has presented this mystery in such a complex way that somewhere or another, it will play with your mind.

So these are some good reasons why you should watch the Killer Paradox K-drama. It does not disappoint in other things too, be it production value, cinematography, BGM, etc.

There is only one problem with this series: it is a very slow burner, so it can bore many audiences, and its concept is physiological, so many audiences will not be able to digest it.

I don't think that a pro audience would be able to enjoy this drama because the intensity that should be there and the excitement that should be there are not felt that much by the characters.

Conclusion

If you want to watch a good time-pass K-drama series in which you get to see good twist turns, a serial killer, something like a game of cat or mouse, decent action, and great performances, then you will definitely check out this crime drama once.

And yes, there is no season 2 of this K-drama; this is a limited series.

So if you have seen it, then tell me in the comment box how much you have enjoyed it.

See you soon.
