1 – Mean Girls (2004)

When Cady (Lindsay Lohan) returns to America from Africa she attends her first public high school. After being home schooled for most of her life, Cady knows nothing about high school life. She makes friends with the 'Art Freaks', Janis and Damian, who convince her that it would be funny if she pretended to be friends with the popular clique, the 'Plastics', led by Regina (Rachel McAdams) and then tell them all the stupid stuff that they do.

2 – It’s a Boy Girl Thing (2006)

A very underrated movie starring Emily Hampshire (Schitts Creek) and Sharon Osborne. The narrative tells the story of Nell and Woody, two high school kids that live next door to each other but are from very different families. Nell (Samaire Armstrong) and Woody (Kevin Zegers) do not get on, Nell is teased for being a geek, whilst Woody is the school football star. When Nell and Woody go on a school trip to a museum, a curse is put on them by a statue of the Aztec god Tezcatlipoca. The next day, they wake up in each others bodies.

3 – The Hot Chick (2002)

A Hilarious comedy starring Rachel McAddams and Rob Schneider. This movie sees prom queen Jessica (Rachel McAddams) swap bodies with a low-life criminal (Rob Schneider) when they both wear cursed earrings.

4 – Whatever it Takes (2000)

Whatever it Takes took $9 million at the box office and was somewhat slated by critics. However, this easy-to-watch teen movie will no doubt bring a smile to your face. The movie stars James Franco and Shane West and tells the story of Accordion playing, Ryan (Shane West) who disguises himself as a cool kid to win the attention of popular girl, Ashley (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe).

5 – Bring it On (2000)

This is the first of the Bring it On movies, and stars Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) in the leading roles. Torrance (Kirsten Dunst) is made cheer captain, replacing “Big Red”. When Missy Pantone (Eliza Dushku) joins the squad, she accuses Big Red of plagiarism. Missy takes Torrance to watch the East Compton Clovers, where she sees them perform an identical routine.

6 – Freaky Friday (2003)

This is a remake of the 1970s movie of the same name. This version stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan and Chad Michael Murray in the leading roles. Wayward teenager Anna (Lindsay Lohan) and her mum, Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) swap bodies after eating fortune cookies in a Chinese restaurant.

7 – Get Over It (2001)

Starring an almost unrecognizable Ben Foster, Get Over It tells the story of Berke Landers (Ben Foster) who joins his school’s production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream to try and win back his girlfriend, Allison.

8 – A Cinderella Story (2004)

A modern take on the classic Cinderella story. This version sees Hillary Duff and Chad Michael Murray in the leading roles. Diner Girl, Sam (Hillary Duff) is forced to live in the attic by her evil stepmother (Jennifer Coolidge) after her father dies during an earthquake. Whilst working at her dad’s old diner, Sam starts an online friendship with someone called Nomad in a Princeton chatroom. Sam and Nomad agree to meet at the school dance, despite her stepmother forbidding her to go. Sam makes it to the dance, dressed as a princess but her face is covered by a mask. She meets her prince, Nomad who turns out to be the most popular boy in school, Austin Ames (Chad Michael Murray). Sam has to be home by 9pm and back at the diner before her stepmother finds out. As she runs out of the dance, she drops her mobile phone. Austin then tries to find Cinderella's real identity.

9 – John Tucker Must Die (2006)

John Tucker Must Die tells the story of popular jock, John Ticker (Jesse Metcalf) who dates several girls all from different cliques at the same time, telling each one that he can’t date during basketball season. When they all find out about each other, they use new girl, Kate (Britany Snow) as bate to make John Tucker fall in love with her, before breaking his heart. Trouble is, Kate likes the other Tucker, John’s brother, Scott (Penn Badgley).

10 – Legally Blonde (2001)

Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) is rich, blond, popular and beautiful. When her boyfriend Warner (Matthew Davis) breaks up with her before he goes to Harvard Law School. Warner tells Elle that she is not the right partner for his future career in politics and that he needs someone more serious. Elle then makes it her mission to get into Harvard to win back Warner.

11 – She's the Man (2006)

Viola Johnson (Amanda Bynes) loves to play soccer. When her girls football team is cut, the coach refuses to let her play for the boys team. To keep playing soccer and to prove that she is as good as any boy, she disguises herself as her twin brother, Sebastian (James Kirk) and tries out for a rival team.
