Tekken 8

The 7th installment of the Tekken series marks the end of the Mishima story and the beginning of a new era.

With that being said, what will be next for the most popular fighting game since Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter?

I can't say what the plot of Tekken 8 would be. What I am wanting to write about here would be some ideas for the next installment of the series, if there is no season 4 DLC for Tekken 7

Add Christie Monteiro

This Brazilian beauty that made her first appearance in Tekken 4 was not featured in the 7th game of this series. The other Brazilian hottie Katerina Alves was introduced, but she is trained as a Savate fighter, not a Capoeira fighter.

So why not add this friend of Eddy Gordo and fellow Capoeira fighter back into the series? If there is no season 4 for Tekken 7 with her in it, why not put her in the next game?

Pankration Fighter

Dambe Fighter

Lethwei Fighter

A Rumi Maki Fighter

And a Bokator Fighter

Pankration is an ancient Greek combination of Boxing and Wrestling. Dambe is a West African form of Boxing. Lethwei is similar to Muay Thai as practiced by Fahkumram, with the exception of using a headbutt in the attacks. Rumi Maki is an ancient Peruvian fighting technique used by the Incas. Bokator is an ancient Khmer fighting style that is also known as "pounding a lion".

The reason I am giving these bits of info on these fighting styles is because since the Tekken series has a variety of different people from different countries that practiced various fighting styles, why not add practitioners of these styles to the next game?

Tekken Force mode

First appearing in the 3rd installment and the 4th as seen from above. The 5th game had Devil Within mode but playing as only Jin Kazuma. The 6th game had Scenario Campaign where at first you played as Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Bosconovitch, but players would eventually unlock other characters throughout this mode. This mode of game was absent in the 7th game of the series.

Whether or not the creators of Tekken plan to put this mode of gaming in their next installment, they should have something just as awesome if not new.

Having another character(s) from Street Fighter

Since Akuma made an appearance in the 7th game, why not have more characters make an appearance?

The reason I chose Sagat as my first idea because like Fahkumram, Sagat also practices Muay Thai and has been dubbed the "Emperor of Muay Thai". Somehow, I would want Fahkumram to say something along the lines of "is this a joke?" towards Sagat on such a title when they match up.

Other ideas could include: Cammy, Chun-Li, Balrog, Guile and T-Hawk.

1 Player vs Computer

Despite the fun of having the Treasure battles, why is there no player versus computer mode?

If there was such a mode it would not involve gaining money or treasure, it would be more about leveling up your character and losing nothing but time while getting a feel for any characters that you would want to play as both online and offline.

Speaking of which, they never had this for the Tekken Bowl mode. You had to have a second player for the game rather than compete against the computer or another player online.

On that note: I HATE THAT STUPID OVERCHARGE THING THEY HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A disciple of Wang Jinrei?

While Ling Xiaoyu is a known disciple of the fellow seen above, there is no other known students of this 105-year-old master of Xin Yi Liu He Quan. Perhaps another person who practiced this style under him should be introduced as a replacement to him.

Home-run hitter mode

Since there is already a Tekken Bowl in the series, why not add a baseball mode?

Like the bowling mode it would a certain amount rounds you can play and see how far you can hit a ball, but instead of that accursed overcharge, there would be the typical foul balls and strike outs.

Getting money, unlocking baseball themes or even outfits (including sexy outfits for the ladies) could be gained through playing this mode.

There might be more ideas out there for the next game in the Tekken series.

Beach Volleyball with everyone being in swimsuits would have been interesting (and sexy ins some cases) or a survival mode.

Either way these are my ideas.
