Destroy All Humans! Review
The game itself is divided into story levels, challenge levels and Open World. The story layers take you through the story and challenge you to perform certain optional feats, such as killing 5 people with a rocket or harvesting the DNA of 10 people. You have to complete certain missions - most of which involve wanton destruction - but there is also a small sandbox in the open world, where you can destroy everything in sight, read human thoughts, or slip away in a flimsy disguise.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny Review
Disgaea's real driving force, however, is its strategic battle and history, and it should be noted that Disgaea's combat system is 95% identical to that in previous entries. The basic gameplay has changed little since the first game, which was conceived as a less obvious version of Final Fantasy Tactics. The traditional staples return, with stacks of up to ten active warriors stacked on top of each other, throwing whole columns of lids across the room of the map to dodge and attack obstacles, aided by characters standing in a field.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Review
The title of the game refers to the numerous improvements the original made in 2017 including a handful of new side stories, new music, a smorgasbord of unlockable pictures, improved graphics and more. The original game rewarded players for completing all sorts of routes in the game, but now there are even more incentives to do so.

A Plague Tale: Innocence Review
For younger children, much of the plot consists of Amicia and Hugo sneaking around the base. Human enemies are only a small part of the Plague Tale, but in the next generation version of the game the rats are terrifying and the real star of the series. Not only do they add more than just a healthy dose of horror, they also have an intense aversion to light, and this aversion acts as an important piece of the puzzle in the game.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Review
Exploration and Traverse have been improved over previous entries in the series thanks to the introduction of gifts, special powers specific to each playable monster, allowing them to pause at specific points along the Purple Line, discover hidden objects such as the Third Eye, launch a charge attack with the Valkyrie Hammer and much more. The locations in the game are designed specifically for the gifts, creating a new verticality never seen before in the franchise. In particular, the city of Balduq has hidden items that can only be purchased with the right gifts, making it even more rewarding to explore.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Review
Wings of Ruin does not shy away from confronting decades-old genre tropes and techniques as a role-playing game. The setting, the monsters, and the general environment remind us more of Nintendo-centric MH games of recent generations than of the 3DS world, and it's a title that begins with an understanding of the monsters "ticking behavior and introduces familiar objects and their effects. Knowing the monsters from previous games firsthand helps a little with the first encounters, and the system tutorial is practical enough to make the game accessible to every player.

Trials of Mana 3 Review
Trial of Mana is a full 3D recreation of the third game of the Mana series, released in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 3. Despite her fresh new look, she's still very old-school and doesn't shy away from the 1990s-style dialogue, the provocative musical jams and comic-book-like world that made the series stand out as a franchise in Squares RPG cast in the 1990s. It is a 3D remake based on the action role-playing game from the heyday of the Super Famicoms.

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword Hd Review
Zelda games have always been about exploring worlds that seem huge, and discovering little corners and caves to tell all about. They have ventured into 3D space before they have, with Ocarina of Time focusing on grandiose plots and dungeons, but in Skyward Sword this sense of discovery seems to have disappeared into the background and broken the series focus on exploration. In 2011, Nintendo reforged The Legend of Zelda with the shake of the Wii Remote, but with the Sword of Heaven you feel like you're losing sight of the forests and trees to focus on the spinning sword waves, and the adventurous reach of the series is also lost.

Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed Review
Debriefed follows the other Akibas Trip games in style by collecting a wide range of items that can be used as weapons, from wooden swords to rugged keyboards to anime body cushions for girls. You and your opponents are vampires and the way to defeat them is to destroy their clothing by engaging in fights, tearing them and exposed the shadow souls to direct sunlight to fry them. Be aware that the undead resemble their synthisters unclothed, but the way Shadow Souls is implemented in this game is much more captivating.

Cris Tales Review
When you play as a time mage, Cris Tales includes a lot of time-based tricks, plot devices and gameplay hooks. If Cris Tales has one outstanding feature, that is that it is the unique use of time travel and time manipulation that is at the heart of all you do.
